Toni -- I am so glad you had a great time at your AC bachelorette party. I am so excited that your big day is approaching! Can't wait to hear all about it. Enjoy the next week and all the anticipation -- you are going to have the time of your life!!

10 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

Its countdown... ENJOY the day

Wow!!! I can't believe how close it all is now!!!! I can't wait for tomorrow so I can see the 10 day forecast and see the weather on Feb. 2nd!

Toni I love the bachlorette pictures - it looks like you girls were having a blast! :thumbsup2

We'll have to exchange AC Friend Codes when you get back and have some time to play - with 10 days left I don't imagine you have much time right now!!

Congrats on being in the "Weather Channel 10 Days!" :cool1:

Thanks!!!! Those are just my tame, clean photos..lol. We definitely have to exchange codes! That would be so much fun!! Oh and I have been playing non-stop even with 10 days to go. I am begging Bobby to take the Wii on our honeymoon. :rotfl2:

Toni,

I can't believe it's so close now. Everything looks so beautiful. Can't wait to see pics of THE DAY!!!! Enjoy this time and praying you have nice weather (not the COLD they experienced this week).

YAY! Thank you so much!!!! It seems the cold will be gone when we get there. I am fine with that because its been freezing here in Jersey so it will be nice to have some 70 degree weather!

Toni,

WOO HOO!! You are so close!! :cheer2: I am so excited for you. Ok, so now I have to buy a Wii, so I can play Animal Crossing with you!! LOL. I think Jake's sister plays it on something else. Your BP looked like fun!! Can't wait for you to get back so I can see your pics!!

Thank you!!! I will be sure to share lots of pictures! You have to get a Wii! It would be a ton of fun to play! Plus if you get a Wiispeak we can chat to each other.

I hate the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so annoyed. When the forecast finally became available for February 2nd it said it was going to be sunny and in the 70's. Last night it said on weather.com that there is going to be a 60% chance of showers and in the 60's. Then another website says its going to be sunny and in the 70's. Basically 3 websites say its NOT going to rain and 3 websites say it IS going to rain.

I am just going to guess that a "shower" means an occasional light sprinkle that may pass from time to time as opposed to "rain" which means an all day event. At least I hope thats what it means. If it rains the whole thing will be ruined since everything is practically outside. Grr. I hate the weather!!!!

Awwwww...Toni I am so sorry. I will say a prayer for you that is doesn't rain. It'll all be ok, in the end though you will be married. When do you leave?

Toni dont stress, they said there would be scattered thunderstorms on my wedding day and it was a GORGEOUS DAY... dont worry love.. it will be Beautiful

all of us will be sending you some Pixie dustpixiedust:

Toni do not worry! I know your day will be gorgeous! The weather is always changing so you never know..the forecast might change. No worries.

You are so correct! I just checked the weather channel online again and now it says it will be partly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain and now its supposed to have showers the next day. Geez. I just want all of this to be over soon! :rotfl:

And like everyone else said, the weather is pretty unpredictable and you probably won't know until you wake up the day of! AND I've seen in pics of other brides, DFTW has these huge black golf umbrellas. It makes for some cute "singing in the rain"-esque pics! :flower3: so no worries, It will be beautiful! :goodvibes

You are so close, I can't believe it, I remember coming on here when I first got engaged and everything seemed so far off 9 months ago.

Toni,
Maybe this will help you look at things in a different perspective...

DF and I met and it was raining. Our first date it was pouring. Every time we went away, Tropical storms, the first time we went to maine, it was flooded the first time in 55 years...Engagement, rain lol

So, we kept saying that on our wedding it will probably rain. We mentioned this to fmil and she said, Let me show you something...

She then brought our her wedding pictures. It POURED (As it was in august) and the pictures are just breathtaking.

They've been married for 35 years now, and she said to me
"If you cant make the best on a rainy day then you won't know how to handle your marriage"

It really made me take a step back and realize, that she was right. So now, we are hoping for rain on our wedding day... I know itwould stink but, its the truth. I've also decided on a second dress and I promise u i will run into the puddles if necessary to wake myself up and drag myself out of the slump...

Hope that helped you a little. I know it would stink. I am also going to say a prayer that you dont get rain!
Jenny

will hope for no rain but if a lil comes make it in the am .. this way you get good luck and it gets out of the way... but really hoping for the no rain for yoU!!!!!!!

I agree with jenny, my grandmother always said rain on the wedding day was good luck :) It poured at my parents wedding (funny story, it actually started pouring right after she got in the limo, her dad had gone back to house so it was her and the limo driver for 45 mins!, He ended up coming to the recpetion lol!) and they have been married for 27 years.
You know FL weather though, I have gone and had rain on the forcsat for the whole week and only had a few sprinkles :)
I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you anyways:thumbsup2

Don't worry about it, as so many of the wonderful ladies on here have said your wedding will be beautiful no matter what type of weather you have that day. Just concentrate on the things that you need to finish before you leave and leave the rest up to fate. Just think in exactly one week you'll be officially married even if it rains pixiedust: :cheer2:

Toni, I'm putting on my poncho and doing a rain dance for you. It rained EARLY on the morning of Caryn's wedding... she didn't even know until after the wedding was over. The worst thing that will happen is that you get a little bit wet and then have super fun pictures with an umbrella!!
(I'm sure Caryn will be happy to crystalize a poncho for you)

Thank you ladies!!!! I am feeling better. The forecasts now seem to be much better. I am not really worried about getting wet and those umbrella shots would be really cool, but I am just worried I won't get to have the carriage and my dessert party outside which would really annoy me. Now it seems that the weather will be pretty good according to the weather channel and my favorite WESH news. It may rain at night but other than that it seems it will be clear during the day. :thumbsup2

Tonight I will have better stuff to report on! :cheer2:

A crystalized poncho would be fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :goodvibes :rotfl2:

It's the Final Countdown!!!
(love that song by the way) :cool1:

Ok so on to other news besides weather, which by the way has changed at least 5 times since my initial rain forecast. (we now have sunnys skies).

So this is my final week as a single girl. I told Bobby that was depressing and he said well if I want I can have all the single weeks I want if I feel that way. :rotfl2: of course we were just joking.

So the nerves are starting to come on strong now. I haven't eaten much today because my stomach feels like its doing backflips. Partially because of the wedding, partially because of the plane and partially because I am a nut.

Ok so here are some things that I haven't posted on. I had a situation with my favors for the kids. I WAS, upon Bobby's suggestion, going to give the kids a mug and some hot cocoa but I ran out of cocoa. I couldn't get anymore since its from Disney and well, I am not near Disney so I had to think of something else. So we were totally stumped as to what we could do for the kids.

Anyway, a Super Walmart just opened near us and we went to the toy section checking the aisles for something that we can give the kids. They are all different ages so it was hard but we finally decided on the following gifts.

For the 12, 11 and 16 year olds we got these 20 questions game. Its so cool. You think of something, anything and answer the questions the little game asks you. It can actually figure out what you were thinking. Pretty cool. It should occupy them for about an hour. They were $8.00 each.

Then for the 7 year old we got a magna doodle. We thought it would entertain her for a little while during the reception.

Then we got some bags to wrap them up in and I put little labels on them to identify them for the kids.

Here are some pictures my mom took of me packaging them.

Hopefully they like them. So I packed everything up last night and made labels for the boxes. I was told by my planner to make sure all of the items are in boxes seperated (ceremony stuff, reception stuff) so I have one lonely box for the ceremony which is only holding the programs and program basket.

Then I have 2 boxes for the reception. I have a list which tells the planner what is in each box and where everythig should go because I am anal like that. :lmao:

I also confirmed with all the vendors today to make sure they still had me scheduled since I haven't talked to most since last summer. Everything is a go with them.

All that is left to do now is pack my clothes. I am a slacker when it comes to that area. It will get done eventually.

So here is the latest weather reports since I am still obsessing.

From weather.msn.com: PM Drizzle. High 69, Low 53
From weather.com: Partly Cloudy, High 72, Low 49 10% chance of rain
From accuweather.com: mainly cloudy with showers possible, High 71, Low 52.
From wesh.com: Partly Cloudy, High 71, Low 46.

So from these forecasts I have determined that it will not rain, if it does it will be for a very short time and I am kind of happy about the the partly cloudy weather because I heard that kind of weather makes for good pictures.

So that is my update. I don't know how many more updates I will have before I leave on Saturday but this was pretty long so here you go...:lmao:
