I would like to do the GardenView, but I think we're going to have too many people and they won't let us do it there. I really prefer the style of the GardenView, because it's so classy!

You can have up to 25 people for reservations during business hours and 50 peopleif you buy the restaurant out ($500 for 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Tuesdays and Saturdays only OR $1,000 for 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily).

WOW! I didn't know that. I think I will have closer to 30, but that is a really good idea!

I also talked to DH's Dad today and found out they're only going to be there the night before the wedding (for the Welcome Dinner) and they are leaving PROBABLY DURING THE RECEPTION! I thought DH would be upset, but he said that was a typical MO for his dad.

So, it occurred to me...if the FoG was bailing that early, I would be lucky if 1/2 were there the next day. So, I went ahead and booked 1900 Park Fare for 30 people. It's $18.99 a person, they have characters, it's at the GF...AND they have Mickey Waffles! All at 1/2 of what I would have paid for a catered buffet. The catered buffet menus my WP sent look amazing (although impossible to choose! too many options!), but I just don't think we'll have enough to make it worth while.

That should work!

Cake was up against a window--which was cool because Randy got a picture of the cake with us in the background outside- I just dont have it loaded in photobucket!

CH- our pre-reception was supposed to be in the bar area--when we got there they had everyone on the lower level in the beginning part of the restaurant --it worked out OK--when we got there we went to the bar area and said Hi to everyone from up there--

We did 1900 Park fare the day after too-- it was fun, everyone had a really good time! We had 20 something people--cant remeber exactly

Thank you! That does help. Could you mingle with your guests in this configuration? It looks like people could have been "stuck" in the middle, against the window...

And I'll always take more pictures! They are the best for showing your WP what you want!

It definately was a little harder for people to get up from the middle--it wasnt that big of a deal because of the sit down dinner. We did it this way because of the number of people we had it just worked out better. I think if we had more I would've done like 8 at a table and spread out aroun the restaurant a little more.

Oh, I love the idea of 1900 PF. You'll have so much fun. The food there was really good (there's an omelette station) and the Mickey waffles are awesome. It's fun to see everything coming together for you!

MOH ordered her dress the next day (I think she was tired of me being indecisive!) I went with another BM today to order hers at the shop here. I also brought my dress from the June wedding, and the seamstress will loop the hem under to the waist to make a sort of balloon hemline. And then I ordered a jacket to go with it. I'm going to wear it for the welcome dinner.

Now, I need to focus on the menus...since my PS and tasting session is a little over 3 weeks away!!!!

Oh, I am sooo bad! Actually work has been horrible and the stress of everything has been getting to me.

The good news is I leave for my PS in 9 hours!!! I'm excited. I fly into Atlanta, where I meet my MOH. We're driving down to Orlando. I have a hair trial on Wed. and the PS and Tasting Session on Thurs. I'm SUPER excited!

The best thing about all this is the deadline made me get my act in gear and consolidate all my stray thoughts and ideas.

I can't even remember everything that I've accomplished in the last few weeks.

Our invitations are done and should ship this week! We went with Shelley from Impressions. I was worried about the bad reviews of Impressions, but, I wanted a custom Disney-ish design. So, I sent Shelley an idea I had (which took some scroll-work I had seen on a message board that another designer had done) with a castle image that I added. So, that's basically what we went with.

From then on out, Shelley was a dream to work with. Everything was done ahead of even MY schedule. I was usually the one slowing things down. I was very, very happy! I should be able to meet up with Shelley at the PS, so I'm excited to meet her! I should be able to see an invite, too (I'm having her address and mail them).

Okay, so wish me luck on the PS and I'll take lots of pictures!
