You know, it's interesting. Most of the NE sports teams are hated, including the Red Sox. But in recent years we've seen some beloved former Red Sox go to, say, the Chicago Cubs, including the general manager, Theo Epstein, and there, they became very loved, too, even revered when they won the World Series last year in a legendary fashion. So I have to think that a lot of it is just the fact that they're NE teams, which is kinda sad, but I get it. I'm more of a baseball fan than anything, and I honestly can't say there's any other baseball team I
hate. (And that includes the Yankees - I'm actually a Yankee fan myself.

) I sort of like all of them. I rooted for the Cubs in the WS and was happy to do it. (I would've been very happy for the Indians, too, if they had won it.) One of the reasons I don't read a lot of football stuff is that I just can't stand to hear all the hatin' on Brady and the Pats. Local stuff is fine, I have nothing against honest criticism and like to hear the pros and cons of thing. They estimated a million people came out for the victory parade Tuesday, despite there being horrible cold/rainy/wet weather. Some stood outside from 5am. They said it was the biggest crowd ever seen for a victory parade here, and that includes when the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004 for the first time since 1918. One of the good things about living in NE is being a sports fan, for sure. Haters just gonna hate, I guess.
