Are the tolls on Highway 417 manned or do I need exact change? We'll be driving from MCO to Downtown Disney. Anyone know what the total tolls will be? Thanks.

There are manned booths, stay to the right. It's $1.25 x 2 stops to the Downtown Disney exit.

Which is Exit#6, State Road 536, to enter Disney. It becomes EPCOT Center Drive on-property. The first exit once you pass under the Disney Welcome barrier is the exit for DTD and is well-marked.

If you somehow miss that exit then the next one is Exit#3 which is Osceola Parkway. That heads into Disney World as well however there is a $.50 toll on the exit ramp off the 417 and this one is coins only, no staffing.

Just be prepared on the weekends there may only be exact change lanes open.

Yes there were 2 exact change tolls last weekend when we went. The cost was 50 cents at both of the tolls booths. So take a few dollars in quarts with you. I put my quarters in an empty medicine bottle.

Plan to spend $5.00 in tolls for a one way trip on 417

We have found that in Orlando one must always be prepared with change. You never know if you will miss an exit and end up at one with exact change only. Better prepared than unprepared. Imaging pulling up to a booth thinking there was an attendant and there was not, and all you had was bills. Not a good feeling.

The tolls are not $5 each way on TOLL 417, they're $1.25 x 2 = $2.50 each way as DebbieB said. These are both mainline toll plazas and are staffed 24/7. ShellyF, if you ran into two $.50 unstaffed toll booths, I have no idea where you were! But as I mentioned above, if you continue onto Exit#3 then there is an unstaffed $.50 toll on that exit ramp. But even that only makes the one way trip $3.

Many times on the way to the airport on the weekend the toll booths are not manned. It is exact change only. I get on at the end of the 417 near WDW and that one and several others are like that.
