Today's show tension? (4/19)

I'll admit, I only watched part of the show, and I was only paying half attention to the parts I was watching, but ... I didn't notice any tension. Maybe some playful mockery, but no tension.
I also thought Oliver was great. I'm excited to see him on the Universal show on Thursday. I hope someone warned him about the singing.

The YouTube version of this episode is a disaster.

And who is Grizzly Adams?

Ok I appreciate the weighing in, I think everyone was just a little more "unplugged" today and letting loose. I look forward to the show every week and love what each of you bring to the table. Also, welcome Oliver! How adorable is he?!

I have a feeling this thread will end in someone telling us that it's all in our heads and that everyone was fine and no one hates anyone else or has any tension with anyone else etc.

Sometimes we just have a bad day, I know I was grumpy on Monday evening for no apparent reason, it happens.
Good point, thanks!

I am really surprised to see this as I actually thought the show was fun today. There was some light hearted banter and some jabs but everyone was in a good mood and laughed about it.
Thanks for the reply! Glad to hear that was the sense in the studio with the team.

So no one else had the problem with the video and audio not matching?

The YouTube version of this episode is a disaster.

Every episode has this issue. It's a YouTube problem that effects live streams after they are done and it fixes itself out later on (within 1 to 3 hours usually).

Meanwhile, Craig's FAQ on the show at the top of this forum is collecting dust :)

Also, I sensed no tension. Everybody thinks Kevin and John are rude every show, it seems. I guess humor/snark/sarcasm/banter goes over people's heads.

Also, they joke on Jackie because everything is awesome and amazing.

I really think people over analyze things a lot.
Or whatever, I dunno.

Oliver is bae.

I thoroughly enjoyed todays podcast. I like the fact the team don't always agree on subjects and that that things are not always sweetness and light. There's banter, disagreements, challenges, Jackie ;) (only joking, she's a sweetheart), varying points of view, teasing and the odd rant. I find this format of show more interesting, fun, engaging and balanced. It's why I watch.
If everyone was like "oh my...yes, what a wonderful idea" and "absolutely, you said it perfectly!" I'd lose interest in a heartbeat.
As for Oliver, I think a little light teasing is a good way to break the ice...I doubt this was the first time the team met him, so I suspect he's already got to know people a little. I think he did really well too! I would have stumbled over each one of my English accented words had I been in his position...so well done Oliver!
Love hearing about what's going on in WDW when I can't be there, so definitely looking forward to the next show, tension and all ;)

The chatters are a shady group of characters, that's for sure. They weird me out.

I listened again and without the need to think up something witty or pertinent to say (Who am I kidding it's total Drivel) for the chat, It didn't see that tense.

Just some major Banter going on!!

Also I wouldn't worry about Oliver and any (Perceived) underlying tensions, he British for god-sake we thrive on that stuff haven't any of you seen Downton Abbey
