I also believe that people book more than they need.I don't believe it is Disney holding back available tables. There is no advantage to them to do that. What I do believe - and it is often reported in posts here - is that folks book multiple ADR's for the same time until they know what they "feel like eating". The one exception to this is I do believe they hold available tables in WS in Epcot for Candlelight Processional packages that are released later in the summer. In this case there is a reason for them to hold tables, and those tables will be filled.

BUT, the available times were too close for one person to book them. There were multiple tables available. And they all became available at 3AM.
It could have been a TA. But even then, it wasn't for a popular time, simply "dinner."
