Today is my 180 days and I can't get Ohana. So disappointed!

I don't believe it is Disney holding back available tables. There is no advantage to them to do that. What I do believe - and it is often reported in posts here - is that folks book multiple ADR's for the same time until they know what they "feel like eating". The one exception to this is I do believe they hold available tables in WS in Epcot for Candlelight Processional packages that are released later in the summer. In this case there is a reason for them to hold tables, and those tables will be filled.
Good Luck all. Keep checking as the hoarders do ultimately drop extra ADR's
I also believe that people book more than they need.

BUT, the available times were too close for one person to book them. There were multiple tables available. And they all became available at 3AM.

It could have been a TA. But even then, it wasn't for a popular time, simply "dinner."

I agree something is strange because I was able to get BOG and I haven't been able to get it on the last several trips. But Ohana has never been an issue and I've been booking it for years.

My husband thinks they may be doing a Moana overlay because the film is out November 23rd? And that's why they may not have released the availability? May even be a character meal?

We've had a lot of trouble as well...my 180 was a few days ago too. (going week after Thanksgiving sat-sat) I was trying for Ohana dinner and Akershus breakfast. A good friend who is going the same time as us is trying to get 50s Prime Time lunch & nothing available.

I just thought they had held these ones back because many other popular ones such as BOG had loads available. Didn't make sense for Ohana to be fully gone.

We had the exact same issue yesterday, I either believe Ohana is closed for a refurb or they have not released everything. We couldn't get onto our 180+10 for 45 minutes yesterday and missed out on nearly everything we wanted but yet I have read so many people at the same time had the same issue so where have the available times gone? I went straight to the last day of our trip and couldn't even get a breakfast ADR at Ohana straight away. Some people on here thought it was due to the free dining 'frenzy' and their 180+10 the day before had allowed them to book all the Ohana ADR's but the last day of my trip wouldn't have been available on their 180+10.

We also cannot get Sci Fi diner or 50's Prime time for the entire 10 days of our trip. They are not THAT popular and when BOG, V&A's and other popular ones were still available until late yesterday evening because of the problems people are having, something is definitely up.
I would agree. Sci fi and 50's are easy to get. If you can't get those at 180, there's something up. I can still book those for September and I'm 88 days out and during free dining.

I think they do hold back tables l. I saw a lot of tables open up at once for BOG. Definitely keep trying as it gets closer l.

We got 'Ohana yesterday for 14 people in November. We had been trying for about two weeks, then finally three times popped up for the day we wanted (DW's 48th birthday). Keep trying. Don't give up.

Thank you. I will just keep checking. But it would be nice to just have my reservations made and be done with it....ugh!

Well, just as soon as I posted...I checked 50s Prime Time for my friend and there were 3 available lunches for 11/30, back to back times. Nothing on any of her other days. She's been obsessively checking as well.

I read on another thread that a scam making reservations has said they have not released Ohana for December 8? Might be the case for a few days...

I will there during the same time (week after Thanksgiving) and had the same issue with 50s prime time, but was able to switch it out with another ADR. It appears that there may be a special event going on which may explain why the lunch period was blocked off (only dinner times were available).

I don't think they hold back Ohana tables. I think in-park tables may not be fully released pending events and hours.

It's important to remember the difference between what may be going on in-park, and resort dining. Because of the mechanics of events, parties, EMH, Candlelight Processional, Rivers of Maybe, etc., in-park can be a bit of a moving target. But we all know Poly will be open for business every day in that period, as does Disney, and they aren't holding anything back (save for potentially booking conference private parties in advance of 180, which isn't "holding back," it's "booking spots you can't have").

I'm pretty sure you meant to say 29th birthday...

Interestingly, Sci fi was one of hte ones that never came available when we were there last October. I started looking about 90 days out after i decided I wouldn't mind trying it and checked every couple days and nothing. I got BOG and Akershus later on, but never saw Sci fi.

In our past experience, you have to just keep retrying. Sometimes, we were not able to get a reservation on computer, but were successful on phone.

Same story here, but for CRT, so I expected to have a little trouble or to get an off time initially. I was up at 6am and there was NOTHING available, at any time, on any day of our trip. That I did find to be a little bit unbelievable. I was willing to be pretty darn flexible for this one. I do think Disney holds back reservations, especially for certain places. Last September they released DOZENS of pre-park opening reservations for BOG all at once several weeks before our trip, and I know because I had a reservation tracker for it that started blowing up my phone one morning. That's why I'm not stressing about it. Between now and our trip I'm sure we'll get something.

That is what happened to me.

It was 3am, and my phone starting dinging, with messages. Seven of them in 20 minutes.

Then when I looked on Disney's website, they had all times available.

I had something similar happen when I was looking for BOG reservations for a friend who is going with a large party the end of June. One afternoon I received about 7 text messages for BOG ADR's for a party of 7, multiply days and times for dinner. This was about 3pm in the afternoon. So maybe they release them at 3am and 3pm?

I am glad they hold some back for those that book closer to the trip, it sucks for some of us that want to plan far out, but not everyone can or wants to plan so many months out.

Reservation tracker? Can you tell me more about this? Is this an app or something?
