To those that got the free dining PIN...

Did you already have your trip booked? I was just speculating on how they are sending the PINs out. :)

Maybe they are getting the PINs to people who already have a trip booked first? Although that doesn't make any sense... They should be trying to get people who haven't booked yet to do so! lol
 
Nope. I have a few saved but DH got the email, not me. The Disney Visa is set up with his email address so I'm guessing maybe that's why he got it and not me?

We had a room-only booked. I had to add everything else tonight for it to work..
I don't think there's any rhyme or reason, I think they just look up when you call, and if the lights flicker they give you the pin!:rotfl:
 
I had a room only booked. I called to check, turns out my son had a code. We used that to get FD. Then later this evening I get an email with a pin code with my name on it.
 

I didn't have anything booked and got the pin in two different email accounts. I had received the last pin that just expired in both of those email accounts as well. I had saved some dates on the website last fall.
 
Not planning on going until 2012. Maybe it's just coincidence but... we booked early for our 2008 and received not a single pin code. 2009-1010 we got like... 3-4 pin codes each year. So far this year we've gotten 2 pin codes. 40% off deluxes various dates through december and free dining.
 
I booked a room with the 40% off discount and got the pin the next day. I hope everyone that is hoping for one gets one soon! :thumbsup2
 
had nothing booked but did have one vacation saved outside the FD dates. We are rescheduling (and going sooner hopefully!!) Can't use my pin online cause they must have incorrect info in there, so I'll be calling first thing in the AM :).

Interestingly enough, both my DH account and my account gone several % off codes before they expired. I used the one under my account to book two rooms right before the PIN expired. Tonight I received a FD PIN on my account, but none yet on his account (and he usually gets more PINS than me.)

Don't know if it has anything to do with it though.


ETA: I did save one vacation on my account right after booking the % off room-onlys. No vacations were saved on his and he hasn't even logged in in over a year.
 
No, I do not have a trip booked this year. I just recieved the free dining pin for April-August. BUt last year I went to Disney and about a week after we got back we recieved a pin code in the mail for free dining. There doesn't seem to be a lot of rhyme or reason as to who gets them...:confused:
 
I had a room only booked and had 3 saved on my vacations online. So far, I have always gotten pins for my trips in the past, say 3 years. I must say that sometimes they are for my husband and sometimes for me.

Same dates for me for FD. I only got the offer in ONE of my emails.......

One trip for October saved in my profile.....
 
Had a trip saved. Earlier had received a pin for another offer that expired 2/28. Received the FD offer today, expires August 13th.
 
We did have a trip booked, but it was under my name. I have always booked under my name, except for our HM, which was under my H's. Our FD pin was under my mom's name, who hasn't been since 12/06 and has never been the primary, just a guest. We thought that was a bit odd.
