I'm also relieved to hear an answer finally. As much as I absolutely loved getting to know everyone here and sharing the process, I think doing so made it a lot harder to hear that I hadn't made it. I think next year I might try to lay low. Two years ago when I made it to R3 it was a complete surprise and I think if I hadn't made it I would have been a little disappointed but not nearly as sad as I am now.

Of course I'm really excited for anyone who did make it!

I'm shocked that I made it to R2. I'm a guy applying for runDisney, which pretty much means that I was wasting my time.

My guess is that the new panel is only going to have 1-2 guys tops, and they probably won't be for runDisney or any of the specialties, though they might make the Disneyland one.

Good luck to the R3 people. I wish I hadn't run already today - a good 8 or 10 miles would have really improved my mood about now.

While I should be thrilled that I made it to Round 2 for the first time, ever, after applying every single year since the beginning of time, or the beginning of the MMC, I would be fibbing if I didn't admit to being a bit saddened by getting my rejection email. I thought for sure since my birthday falls on the MMC training that it was a sign . But alas, my journey for this year ends and I'll try again next year.

I do have a quick AP FLE preview coming up in two weeks that I'm heading to, a nice long WDW vacation at the end of November and living close enough to go every week by the end of the yea to look forward to. So I guess I can't be too sad.
