So I woke up Saturday

Figured I would start the day off with D23 membership. $50 to bump up the general to the Gold. Not too bad.

Browsed the Disney annual passes since we were thinking about a French Quarter trip - not DVC owners and those beignets are really good.

Bought an Incredipass. Told the wife she would have to make do with the regular ticket. She wasn’t too happy. We never were annual passholders but now I was! Today was a good day.

Wondered what our DVC Guide was up to on a Saturday morning. Hadn’t talked to him in a year. Apparently not too much since he called me right up. Wanted to see my Gold membership and Annual Pass. He liked them.

Next thing you know he’s emailing me to congratulate me about becoming a new DVC member at the Poly. That was nice of him until started spamming my inbox with some paperwork and dinging my credit card.

He must’ve felt bad because he arranged for a room at the Poly next month. He even took those points back for the trouble - at least for this year. I guess I have to give up that French Quarter stay but I’m still going back for a beignet.

Today was a good day.
