to EMH or not to EMH

I am planning a quick trip 2 nights in late July (yeah, I know, awful time). It will be me and DS7, staying at POP. We will have 2 day park hoppers plus WP's. We didn't do the WP's last time and so we really want to enjoy them this time.

With all that in mind, which of these will choose for the two days.

1) An evening (not EMH) at Epcot) and a morning through midday (not EMH) at M.K.

2) An evening (not EMH) at Epcot and an EMH morning through midday at M.K.

3) Skip Epcot and spend two mornings through midday at M.K. -- one EMH, one not.

4) A morning at Epcot (not EMH) and an EMH morning at M.K.

We will also plan on spending 2 afternoons at waterparks -- possibly 3.

If you want to do Epcot and MK, that's the best choice of the three offered.

water parks can make you quite tired. i would do what parks you want in the am, and then the water parks. just saw your edit, and that was my choice all the time.

If I'm going to Epcot, I want to be there for IllumiNations.

I'd never set foot in a waterpark at WDW. I can do that at home.

But heck, you can just keep adding "options" until everyone finds their favorite.

I think this depends on what you want to do at Epcot. If you want to ride *both* Test Track and Soarin', it could be hard to get FP's for either of them if you don't show up until the afternoon...

My answer would depend on whether you have any kids and their ages.

If you have kids that still enjoy the MK, I'd do two mornings at MK and possibly just hit epcot after a water park to ride soarin and do illuminations. You'll have to wait in line but if that's all you're there to do, it's worth a wait.

If you have older kids or must ride TT, MS, and Soarin, I'd do one morning mk and another epcot. I might even dart over to epcot for dinner and illuminations after a water park too.

A little more information.

The trip will be me and DS7.

My hope is to get away with a 2 day ticket plus water parks. Adding a third day or park hopper seems really expensive -- more than $100 just for a few hours.

We went for the first time last summer and loved it. Our goal is to hit a few favorites again (Eating a meal with Mickey, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, and Stitch are at the top of DS's list) and see a couple of things we didn't see before (definitely the water parks, possibly Test Track and Illuminations). Also, I'd love to fit in a few really nice meals -- at this point I'm thinking of some of the following -- breakfast at Ohana's, lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, lunch or dinner at Le Cellier or lunch or dinner at Concourse Steakhouse.

Finally, and I hate to admit it but we are a little lazy -- I'm worried about staying up for Illuminations and then getting up the next morning I also don't think that three parks in one day (e.g. a.m. at M.K., midday at the waterparks and then illuminations is our speed). Last summer in the heat we found that 9-1 was about our maximum in a park.
