Hi,
Iam on the cusp of booking our flight for May 2011 but I was wondering whether I should wait for the sales instead? I know it is impossible to say for sure but I thought I would ask the experts first.
Today I found BA flights on 3/5/11 returning on 17/5/11 for 2 adults and 1 infant for £1125. We would prefer Virgin but BA is our second choice. We need to go direct but are flexible on dates to a certain extent as I'm yet to book accomadation with Disney. The price is held until tommorow morning.
Any advise will be gratfully recieved.
Thanks :thumbsup2

Slightly cheaper with Opodo/BA £1,077.50

Another option is flying into Tampa with BA direct, takes about 30 mins longer to Disney than MCO(we are flying into Tampa in Feb for 2nd time) £979.50 (BA.com)

Only way to get Virgin down to anywhere close is if you have miles to use
Total for passengers GBP 1,145.50 + 4,200 miles

Just had another thought, Orbitz.com. Used them 2 or 3 times myself but you pay in $'s. They want $1464.68, use a fee free credit card with todays rate of $1.55 and it will cost you £944.95 with BA into MCO.

I think as Easter is so late that Viirgin have decided they won't need to discount seats for May plus with the introduction on the A330s they have less seats to fill.

We were waiting for a sale - BA have included May but DH wanted VA so we booked miles plus money. Last December we booked for May so was waiting agian but not this year :sad2:

Book if you find a price you are happy with. :goodvibes

Still showing at $1464.68 but exchange rate has dropped slightly today so only at $1.5438. Now £949.40 up about £5 since last night.
If you buy in $'s you need to use a fee free card(Post Ofice, Halifax Clarity or Santander Zero) other cards will charge you a 2-3% fee.

I was going to make a thread, but we are both hunting for flights on the exact same dates! :goodvibes Opodo seems a good deal for BA on thos edates atm, I'm abit hesitant though as I have heard alot of negative reviews about them. Netflights keeps fluctuating randomly, was £485 pp LGW - MCO earlier, but has now shot up to £550
