To anyone who has seen the Sherlock Holmes movie...

Our friend is in it (he's a good friend of my DH's) and plays the 7 foot tall character named Dredger....He fights Sherlock holmes with a larger hammer.

I just wanted to let everyone know that his name is Robert Maillet and he is one of the nicest people in the world. He and his family are so caring and non-judgemental. This success could not happen to a nicer person.

He played the part of Uber Immortal in the movie 300 and just finished filming a movie with Antonio Banderas named the Big Bang.

I had always wondered if the people playing bad guys were nice or not and this one is really nice.

I hope so too as he said if he is there for the sequel we could go visit him.....I would love to meet Robert Downey Jr.

Our friend used to wrestle for the WWE and nothing phases him but it's still weird to be out for coffee with him and have people ask him for an autograph. He said everyone on set was really nice. RDjr was even nice to him when one of his punches accidentally connected and RDjr needed stitches.

He was great. My friend and I saw it Monday and we were like "look it's the new Jaws" (Not Spielbergs Jaws, Bond movie Jaws). He had really good facial expression, since he didn't speak a whole lot his face was important.

He does remind me of Richard Kiel, the "Jaws" character in The Spy Who Loved Me. And also a bit like Andre the Giant as well.

Cool, I live in Grand-Barachois but our business is in Shediac. How old is your DH? I am 37 so I might know him. My Parents owned the grocery store in Grand-Barachois so we knew a lot of people.

Cool, I live in Grand-Barachois but our business is in Shediac. How old is your DH? I am 37 so I might know him. My Parents owned the grocery store in Grand-Barachois so we knew a lot of people.

DH is 52 and joined the Army when he was 18, so you likely don't know him. You may know DH's father or step mom though.

He did do a good job in Sherlock Holmes. I also have seen "300", um, many times. Just think he got so close to my fav. actor, Gerry Butler. He did an amazing job in 300 and scared the puddin out of me. Great job.
