In the promotional videos for the Destiny, there are characters shown visiting the clubs (Princesses in fairy tale hall, Mickey and Minnie). Does this happen on the other skip classes also? During our Fantasy cruise, my daughter mentioned Stitch visiting to make slime (we made sure she was there for that just in case he did come) but never mentioned anyone else. I'm considering switching us from the Wish to the Fantasy but would love for her to get to see characters while in the club.

Characters are there for some of the events including on the Fantasy- Stitch for Space Goo, Thor for the marvel thing, etc. Heck on one Fantasy cruise Capt Minnie hung out at Vibe for a bit watching them play Mario Cart and Stitch also has stopped in at Vibe to hang out (both times it was a 7 night sailing for characters at Vibe) They do stop by at Oceaneers on all the ships. Ask the youth CMs

There is a pajama party that I'm pretty sure a character will usually show up to. On our cruise (Fantasy, April 2025), I'm pretty sure it was Pluto.

Our kids have met several characters on the Dream/Fantasy including Olaf (summer snow day event), Stitch (space goo event), Spiderman (can’t remember the name but it would be obvious)— I think a few others, but I don’t believe they have as many princesses in those clubs, whereas the Wish usually has a Princess fairy tale bedtime story at least once or twice.

On the magic in May, my son went to the club for the "Roadster Racer" car building challenge. when the kids were done building their lego cars Mickey came out to "inspect them". He was in his Roadster Racer outfit. Mickey and Minnie also visited during a scheduled dance party. It did seem like many of the character appearances were not explicitly advertised. Stitch and stories with a princess were advertised, but it did seem like characters randomly popped in as well.

In our limited experience on the Wonder, there's scheduled character appearances for certain activities (e.g. Stitch making goo) and surprise appearances.

The surprise appearances can occur both during "open house" (when everyone can enter) and at other times (when only kids are allowed in).

We went in during an "open house" relatively late at night with our daughter to find Donald Duck wandering around. There was no-one else there, so our daughter had a lovely time with him (albeit a short time as she was very tired).
