Please, Please, Please remember to carry on your pins if you are travelling by airplane, unless your pin bags are too big too big to fit under the seat in front of you (NAT!!!). I would hate to hear that someone ended up checking their pins and had the airlines misplace or lose your pin collection.

Good point Brian. Also make sure you get to the airport early enough to get through security and have time to make the plane. Newark loves to leisurley go through my bags and look at the pins, and then call over all their security friends to take a peek.

about early check-in for security...for the first time I got delayed at ORLANDO int'l..my pin bag was not only too opaque to see thru, but it set off one of their sensors...they actually took down my name, even though with further inspection my bag was innocent...I wasn't happy with the "name taking".

I just got back 2 weeks ago (and yes going again next week). Security checked my carry on each direction because all of my pins were in my carry on. I expected it, and it was briefed. I did get a few strange looks and my husband said wait until Aug.8th you will see alot of pins.

August 13 should really drive the inspectors at MCO crazy, or at least overload the X-Ray machines.
