Yesterday was my first day at the new job. Was so exhausted when I got home. The kids don't come back until 8/31 but there is so much for me to learn before then. The principal I am working with is kinda absent minded, (but very nice I will add). So I was told I need to kinda help him along by checking his emails each day and reminding him of appointments, doing his typing, etc.
Wait a minute!!! What am I? His mother now??? Anyway, I am a little upset that now they bring this up. I am hoping to teach him how to read his own emails and use the computer a little more proficiently, so that I can get my work done in the PT 3 days that I will be there.
Oh, and they said that most of the time the internet is down so neither the students or myself will have access to it.
In this day and age honey, you need the internet to send all those forms you want me to type for the state. And, God help the kids who need it to do their work. Maybe I need some IT classes to go along with my Spanish.
This may be a long year.
On the topic of comfort foods...mine is a nice hot bowl of chicken soup with that fresh bread & butter that makes Bopsmom so heavy a crane has to lift her. I had a bowl of this delicious soup yesterday for lunch. The principal took me to lunch at a place called Soup Otsie (like the Seinfeld take off of Soup Nazi). The did make the best chicken dumpling soup I ever tasted. Mmmmmm!

Through email of corse.

I just feel like a friend has died...can't help it.
How can anyone not want to let you have things that make you happy? You are such a giving person...people cannot help wanting to give back to you.

I was soooo surprised. I'm actually in 29th place for the year. I think I've had only 4 top 5 finishes out of 20 races. I just got lucky. Actually, I did pick my #88 and he came up the last several laps to finish in 3rd. I guess my others must have done ok too. What really helped was I didn't pick Jimmie Johnson. He was leading with about 3 laps to go and ran out of gas and finished around 30th. He's a good racer and a lot must have picked him so he hurt their score.

laughing:. Nascar, its just your karma
does sound like it could be a long year. Hopefully it will get better and you will teach the Principal how to take care of himself.

for me too.
sounding exciting!
You are the new Racer!
