Morning ladies...shortly I'm off to the post office to mail the last of my gifts (for now). I really was not on the ball with gifts for my far away friends. I'm happy looking at the little packages going out though....they're all for little ones that we welcomed into the world this year.

Ev, sorry to hear of such a loss at this time. You're so kind to go down there with food. Its those thoughts that make this time a little more bearable.

(psst...its never too early for wine. Just drink it when you get back from running your errands. I won't tell anyone!)

We're back! Had a WONDERFUL trip. Got to meet Bopsmom but missed Marie - . Sorry we couldn't hook up Marie. Tried calling but couldn't even get voicemail. Missed you.

Bopsmom will kill me for posting, but I just love the picture. She and her family are soooo nice.

It was so nice getting to meet you and your boys. I wish we had more time-too too short.

It was so fun.....I hated that we didn't have our luggage(brush/hairspray/makeup) so I couldn't 'spruce up" before I took pictures-I looked a fright

It's been cold here and the crowds are starting to show but so far we've had a blast. We are pacing ourselves. Tonight we'll go to Cape May-I'll find some shells for N if you want?
I wish the DDP had a dessert/salad option....I need salads wayyyyyyy more than desserts. DD is loving it-she just tells me what other dessert she wants and I give her mine.

Well, supposed to be 'resting' before our EMH at HS tonight. We went today and collected FP's for the good stuff so we can use them tonight.

Hey everybody! Missed being around. I was at my house a half day Thurs and then worked Friday, went to Mom's and the snow came. We went to get groceries before the storm. I think we has around 12 in. I came home this am and worked 12-4 today and tomorrow. Wed it's back to Mom's. I was going to stay here but we're getting our FL friends on Christmas. They have a funeral to come up for. Are they in for a weather shock! So I do not know when I will get any pics ready to post.

LITC--Thanks for the Walter pic. Glad he liked the ornament. I love snowmen and thought that would be a good one for him. I love the Hallmark commercial when they talk about ornaments they have gotten for special things through their lives.

So what TKer has met the most TKers? I would guess D&D. She really gets around!!! At least I got to meet a new one.

I am so not ready for Christmas. I just mailed my last cards today.

I'm meeting a friend for dinner...I'm getting 2 gift cards there! I told Mom that she's getting IOU's! Her bday is in Jan too!

What a difference a year makes...last year at this time we were buried in snow...today it's Wendy!!

I just found out my neighbour, who I've know since Grade 7 lost her brother on Sat...he died of a heart attack at 42!! I'm heading down there with some food shortly...it definitely is going to be a hard visit.

The kids are off this week and already driving me crazy...is it too early for wine??

The kids went out to play in the snow and didn't come back in until it got dark. NOW they're whining about the cold! I am SOOOO glad they go back to school tomorrow!

I totally agree re: options on the DDP. We used a lot of our snack credits on sweets, so it would have been nice to opt out of the dessert and get a appy or a salad. Not that I'm complaining about free food...it was a lot of fun being able to try new desserts. And let us know about Cape May, I've always wanted to eat there but haven't made it there quite yet....but I will someday...

Cape May was FANTASTIC!!!! The food was delicious and the family loved the options on the buffet!
Plenty of sea food, & prime rib. Mmmm! Kids side had pizza, chicken nuggets, and mac & cheese (Mickey shaped). Lots of fresh fruit, salad, rolls, slaws, soups, and sides. Dessert bar was heavenly!

I was able to get a small salad as a snack credit at the resort. Kids got a fruit bowl or veggie bowl. It was hard to make yourself eat healthy when there are soooo many dessert options to choose from. Yikes! The DDP really was nice since we got to choose some restaurants we'd usually never eat at due to price. When I watched them ring up the items and give us a grand total, I was so happy this was all FREE!

Bopsmom - have a great time at O Lights tonight. That really was spectacular!!!! Had to just about drag DH out of there at closing time and make him stop recording.

D&D...those pics are great! I know what you mean about enjoying the food deal, I kept a little notebook with what we ate and how much the total was...totally a way to demonstrate to BF just how much of a deal we got by going to Disney!

Cape May looks yummy and right up my alley...I love sea food.

Pizza Planet is one of the places that BF requests to go to. I like the salad/pizza combo too. We actually split it. Its not that its so much food, but we like to munch our way around the park.

I love the group photo! Keep them coming! I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time and are so nice to share them with us.

Yup, SHORTEST day of the year. Having the kids home just made it SEEM like the longest!

They have a full day tomorrow and a half day Wednesday. Then they are off until January 4

The "pizza" they serve at Pizzafari and Pizza Planet is NOT really pizza! Not like what we get here in NJ, which is the best pizza on earth! My worst ever meal at Disney was definitely Pizza Planet. YUCK!

I'll have to agree with Wendy on this one...its not real pizza, but more like warm bread with cheese on it. Pizza is stretching it a bit, but I usually just eat the salad anyway....but its a great deal for Disney!

I'm really upset with that post count D&D...How did you get so many? I probably win on TK thread though...I have to win something!

While in FL, I read that Disney was going to scale back on discounts...I to mean things like free dining??? Don't know...

I ate at Liberty Tree Tavern for the first time and loved it. I also ate in Germany again before the CP. That's my Mom's favorite...of course we've only done counter service otherwise. No, we did eat in England several years ago.

There's a show going on. You sit at a table for 8---at least ours was. We asked to be in the upper level because there are steps down. It's a buffet so you can sample and go back for the things you liked. I do have pics but really won't get them up until after Christmas. Mom's a picky eater too. The first part is a salad type area...had bologna. I really don't know the names of things. There was a soup. Over on the far right was a carving station but I was too full to get there.
