Good morning ladies! Its a bright day again here, but it looks like the lower half of the country is getting slammed with a nasty storm. Really, this winter has been so remarkable and unpredicatable.

When I made my ressies for the Mainstay, I also got $94/wed, thurs, and my Fri night stay went up to $104. I also used a AAA discount. Do you have AAA, LITC?

Glad to hear that Walter is doing better. But you need to get some rest and feel better too LITC!

Actually, I think she only enjoys seeing DS7 because DS11 has so many problems. The other grandchildren are perfect you see.... Ugh!!!
This is the same mom who when I went off to live at college, a neighbor gave her a family ornament w/ brother's, sister's, Dad's and Mom's name on the ornament - forgetting ME!!!! When I saw it I asked why she continued to put it on the tree if one of her daughters were missing from it and she said she didn't want to hurt the neighbor's feelings. WHAT????

This is the mother and sister who when my Dad was in ICU at the hospital and a new specialist came into the room, my sister introduced herself to the doc as "I'm his daugter _______ the pretty one." Of which I followed up with "Then I'm his other daughter Deb the intelligent one." Good for you!

Sorry for the rant. I am just feeling so disgusted today.

I would love to stop by. We would be above Green Bay around June 30. Plan to drive 600 miles each the next 2 days (hence the motels stops). If we try to see you we would have to add another day (and not get home until the 4th). We'll have to discuss this more. We really don't like driving over holidays but since we are already driving on the holiday weekend anyway..what the heck.

Will you be in Door County or just around the Green Bay area? I live closer to Milwaukee but could meet you somewhere along I-43/I-94 if you are going to take that south towards IL. Maybe just for a quick potty stop. I won't take up much of your time. Or, I could meet on your way TO the Green Bay area?
You can PM me with your route (to and from) and I'd try to find a place I could drive to. Let me know.

To tell you the truth, DH just pointed to the general area and said it's around here. he's still just penciling in things at the moment. I guess I really should pay more attention. I'm just more interested in getting to PA. But now I have a reason to pay more attention to this half of the trip.

I'm watching the Grammys! Running a snarky commentary too...Beyonce did nothing for me except amaze that she got into that outfit. I really liked Pink's performance after I got over the shock of her outfit!

I can never get into Award Shows. I like to watch the news the day after to see who won and maybe check out their outfits though.

Oh, I'm an awards show hound. BF doesn't get it. He's watching Red Dawn on his own. I love awards season!

I like to watch the live performances. Its amazing how different some of them sound without all the studio magic. And some are just impressive.

For a while I didn't watch the awards shows except for the CMAs. Lately I've gotten back into them.

Does BF know that they are shooting a remake of Red Dawn and that Tom Cruises' son is going to be in it?

No! I'll have to see it. I know that Will Smith's son is going to be in the remake of the Karate Kid.

And that they've made a remake of Clash of the Titans, which breaks my heart.

I hate remakes. Clash of the Titans is one of favorite movies. DH even has a tattoo of Medusa....though she looks nothing like the Medusa in the movie.

I saw the trailer for Clash of the Titans when we went to the theater to see Sherlock Holmes.

It looks like the remake of Red Dawn is set to be released in November 2010.
