Good morning everyone!
It was so nice to not have it dark when I went to my last Friday breakfast with my nonretired teacher friends. I was sad for them...so stressed out about the end of the year and plans for the future school changes. It gets worse every year it seems.
I hope all the sickies feel better, the pets behave (and get home!), everyone manages to stay out of the hospital, no more snow, Jimmie Johnson comes in 25th or worse, and just a generally relaxing weekend.
I'm expecting a good weekend here!

As I sit here I am streaming a local radio station and not long from now they will be doing a segmant called "The weekly punch in the face". You can call in and give someone a "poke in the eye", a "round house kick" or a "punch in the face". The only rule is you can't say buisnesses names or last names.

So, I'd like to give a "punch in the face" to the woman who was dropping her kid off in the wrong area today at DS12's school. Hello dumbnut! It's almost the end of the year and you still can't drop your kid off in the right spot?

How about a "round house kick" to those parents who were dropping their kids off in the bus and staff only parking lot. Turdwads! Don't come crying when your kid gets run over because you can't follow the rules!

It's the same here...we have 3-9 year olds at the little school and parents are dumping them in the circular front drive and letting them walk between the buses to the playground...some don't even get out and walk with them!! The bus drivers hate it and the school has sent notes home, posted signs and even had the secretary go out and tell them where the drop off is but they just don't care...one day some kid is going to get hurt and the "dumb posterior" parent will probably blame the bus driver!!

Good morning ladies! Finally going to get some warmer weather the next few days, although it'll probably rain on Sunday. I wanted some nicer weather, just for my Dad's flight and so I can take my goddaughter outside and play with her....

My fantasy baseball boys are doing terrible. I'm presently 11th/13. They need to play well this weekend.

Dad's flight doesn't get in until 930p. But I'm leaving in the morning, driving to drop off boxes then to my cousin's house for lunch. We'll be celebrating Mother's day early for both my mother (who he's very close to) and his wife, who's celebrating for the first time. I'm going to get my grubby hands on the baby! So it'll be a long day for me, we probably won't be back until after midnight.
