Bless your heart! I had hives most of the week, so I can't imagine how the shingles must have felt. Then on top of a Kidney Stone? You just need a hug...

I do need a hug but even that hurts; but a virtual one is great DD, who is now at eye level to me, just kisses me on the cheek and hugs my head; she is so afraid to hug me.
What this has been like since Good Friday....
Let me put it this way....I've snorkled over fire coral in the islands and got stung from collarbone to knees, I've had a lumbar puncture and I've given birth. What I am going through is like doing all three of these things at the same time.
The doctor said yesterday, as a joke, wow, I'm surprised you haven't shot yourself in the head since I've haven't used pain meds since 3 days after the procedure.

Hey Jo! Sorry, had to go take a quick shower, I had just gotten off of the treadmill.

We are thinking Aug 15th ish...The problem is school starts on the 19th for her so she would have to miss the first few days....Not good with College!

Yup...I was a little worried when he was in the final 2 left standing but thank goodness he stayed...I'm dreading the morning I have to tell her he's gone. I sucks that the results shows are on at 9.

On the 15th!!! OMG we could meet up for dinner (If I get to go) We are hoping to stay at CSR. DD likes that one best. We have never stayed in a MOD before so I am excited...well unless you count FW Cabins.

Yep, we are suppose to check in on the 15th. You tell DH that he has to let you go now. It's going to be a mini tker party in WDW this year.

We are staying at POR this year. Also our first time in a Mod.

Ok ya'll when are you thinking of going to WDW????? I have a trip...though I've taken my ticker off when I put up my picture. I still have points and a kid that wants to go. While I absolutely hate to go in the summer....hell's belles it already hot where I live-why travel to a hot place...It would be fun to swing down for a weekend.

I see another doctor tomorrow-complete workup. Shingles at my age is not a good thing. I know I have auto-immune issues but, hopefully this was just stress-induced and not a warning sign of something worse.

Today is a special day...My dad died 20 yrs ago. It also would have been my friend's parents 60th anniv. Her mom is like a mom to me too. I live 2 blocks from her and take her to dr and we meet my mom for lunch 1 a month. We have done holidays together since my dad died. So I played daughter today to my 2 favorite widows. We went to Penneys and then out to Bird-In-Hand for lunch. Next we went to Kitchen Kettle Village to take an Amish tour. They have wagons and there's 2 different tours. I had never done it before and it just looked like fun when I would be driving around and see them. It was a 55 min tour. An Amish girl drove the wagon and she was so sweet. The horses kind of drove themselves. She would say gallop or trot. They knew where to go really. She said they were the smartest animals. We drove by a field and she showed us her horse she uses to get to work. We went through a covered bridge. She showed us phone booths they have by the road...they are not allowed phones in the house. I asked her about cell phones and she said some may have them before they join the church but then not allowed. She roller blades and visited her friend in Lebanon on them. It took her 3 hrs to get there...I think 17 miles! It was just so much fun. Then we went to the outlets to 2 places mom #2 needed to get things. She's 84. We took my mom home and my friend called on cell about eating with her. So I got to be home 15 min before I got mom 2 and met for dinner. So although it was a sad day, we made great memories. Both mom's agreed.

Bopsmom, D&D and I are meeting down there on the 15th of August. But you are right, that would be going from one hot spot to another for you. It would be pretty awesome to see you there.

Everybody else, you know, those free dining rumors are floating around starting the 15th.

Oh Holly, I hurt just THINKING about what you're going through! You are one amazingly strong woman. Praying for a speedy recovery for you.

I would be seriously jealous about the TK meet in WDW except for two things:
1) I'll be in Turkey with my wonderful DSis
2) it's WAY tooooooo hot in WDW in August!!! (not that it will be any cooler in Turkey, but at least we can hide indoors in the heat of the day!)

I think I am going to go to bed early tonite. Since I only had about 4 hours of sleep last night, I need to get plenty tonite. Assuming the doggie doesn't have other ideas...(but he's been much better this afternoon, so I'm hopeful)

Thanks for missing me. I have to go to mom's earlier tomorrow than usual. We have a mother daughter banquet to go to Sat at lunchtime so that cuts into grocery shopping. And the race is Sat night...I do not like Sat night races. Nothing to do after church...I guess I'll be stuck watching the Phillies.
