M&N, she's add a bling to them for you......sparkly 18's :rotfl:

And I'm using the smilie because I can.

But you should have used this one!

ILD1...I went a little overboard at the Dollar Store today. I bought all the colors I could find. I love that you can get a ton of fun stuff for under $20! I got silver, gold, green, orange, purple, pink, yellow and a top coat.

Am I still allowed to use smilies if I think someone says something that isn't funny?

Hi ILD1! I use to have tons too. But with 3 girls, they go through it like water. Sometimes, they change their nail color 4 times a day depending on their mood.

Wow you sure did. I have some from Dollar Tree and some from some place else. They also have good regular nail polish.

Well sometimes I feel like that too. I feel like after I paint one of my hands I decide I don't like it.

Nail polish is so simple, but so gratifying sometimes. I even like the sound it makes when you shake it. Its just nice being a girl sometimes.

Night M&N!

I'm sure they have done that too. And heaven forbid if their nail color doesn't match their outfit.

Well, ladies, I'm heading out too...sweet dreams!

Night MK!

ILD1, my girls are so girly sometimes. They will even change their outfits a few times a day. Drives me insane. :lmao:

Morning Everyone!

I hope you all enjoyed Valentine's Day. DH and I exchanged some candy but we decided to save our money for our Universal trip in a couple of weeks. Since we are driving I'm hoping to get over to Downtown Disney and score myself a new watch.

My nails are like JO's, pretty strong. I let them grow until they start getting in the way and then I clip them and start over. I use to paint my nails quite often until I had kids. I realized then that nail polish doesn't taste so good and there were times that I had my fingers in my kids mouth for various reasons. That just sounds strange! (Take that person who doesn't like it when you use smilies for yourself) I ususally paint my toe nails in the summer so my feet look pretty in flip flops.

Not much going on today. Need to do some chores that I put off from doing yesterday. Laundry, bathroom, vaccuming, etc. We'll see just how much of that I get done.

Morning!

MK, our local newspaper has a big music section and they've been covering the Grammy's for the past 2 days. Today they posted their reviews of the performances. I've come to the conclusion that I must know nothing about music. They said the best performance of the night was the one with Bob Dylan. And Mick Jagger was amazing. Bad performances were the opening act (I agree), Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Muse.

Morning ladies! It was so windy last night, but my garbage cans managed to hang on and get picked up this morning. Its super bright, in comparison to yesterday's dreariness, and about 30 degrees colder. Ugh. Mother Nature is a little testy lately.

JO--That's so funny. I just read an article about Cee-Lo and Gwenyth performance. His outfit was an homage to Elton John's appearance on the Muppet Show back in the day. It makes sense now! It totally was! If we didn't get it, the kids who actually watched it, I'm sure it was lost of just about everyone else. Now I'm in love with it more.

OMG---the Bob Dylan thing I have never got. I just don't like him and I didn't think his performance was very good. Mick Jagger was entertaining being himself, but I couldn't even tell you what song he sang. Muse was great---a true performance. and I completely disagree with Gaga and Katy--I thought they were the better part of the show. And even though I love Lady Antebellum, their performance was a snoozy.

I was having an issue with my Kindle and was having a really hard time talking with a customer representative. By the third guy, I was getting a little annoyed, but he figured it out and now I'm all set. This morning is just a bit tough for me already.

Edward and I are planning to meet in Atlantic City in a few weeks. We're both saving up and poor, so we're just using our free nights, free play, and free food. We're staying at Harrahs, so we'll just be sitting at the pool and talking. Very excited to see my Edward!

You'll have to tell Edward "hi" from me. And being that it's all free, it will be even better. Hanging out at pool just sounds wonderful right about now.

I got the Cee-Lo performance right away. But that could be because I love Elton and have seen that performance many times. The article did say it was "dumb" to have Gwyneth there.

I found Mick to be amazing. Amazing that he could still get up the move like that. Amazing that he found jeans skinny enough to be tight on his toothpick legs.

I know they say that the camera adds ten pounds, so can you imagine just how teeny-tiny Mick Jagger is? When I saw Vanessa Williams on Millionaire, she was miniscule--yet on tv she looks like real human size...

I know, Pike, it sounds like the critics were watching a completely different show that we were.

Despite the bathing suit issue, all I want to do is lie by the pool in the warmth and read my Kindle and be lazy. Edward and I both have free buffets for two, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all covered! Of course, we're not above finding sugar daddies! But considering that its the weekend, there'll be lots of little girls walking around in teeny dresses, so its not going to happen for us...

oh, goodness Billy Ray! Its such a cop-out to blame others and the success that has definitely pampered your own lifestyle. He's her father! Where was he then when all this was happening? And if I remember correctly, during all that flap over the Vanity Fair issue, he was the one defending her and the photos. Its not too late now, yet he's already claiming the victim. I agree, Miley's gone a bit too racy for someone her age, not even considering the Disney things, but he shouldn't write her off....
