MK, he'll be 18 next month. And after that, there won't really be anything that Curt and I can do to keep him out. He's been stealing for the past 6 years. And we've done everything we can to set him straight. We are just tired now, so so tired. I don't want to sleep with my purse anymore or hide every last penny because if I don't, it will be gone. It's a horrible way to live in your own house.

Still working on my cards...I got next year's half price today. Remember when Christmas things didn't go on sale until the day after Christmas? That was fun time for me---better than Black Friday. I loved buying Christmas decorations the day after.

And we heard more from the police officer at the school. Curtis will end up being criminally charged for the phone. He'll have to go to court and make restitution. Told his mom about it and she tells us that last weekend, he took one of her friend's phone and downloaded porn. Nice of her tell us when it happened. He's going to end up in jail and I don't think we can stop it anymore.

Oh Jo, I'm so sorry. I know how helpless you feel. Thankfully we are not at that point here, and I pray we never get there.

Its started snowing here. The heavy, wet stuff. The kind that stays. Ugh. If it doesn't stop, I won't be able to get to the doll sale tomorrow. It may be a sign, though, to save up some money.

I didn't realize that Curtis was close to 18, JO. That's when it really get scary and hardcore. No excuses anymore. You can get into some heavy duty trouble and no one else is responsible but yourself. I'm scared for Curtis too....

Evening ladies... yesterday's snow only accumulated to less than 2 inches, so I was able to get out today and go to the doll sale in Kingston. I was a little late in arriving, just after 9am, but I think I did fairly well. Others I spoke with arrived last night and stayed that the hotel. They gave out numbers at 7am, and they got number 55!

This was the most physical sale I've been to. But the prices were good and I think it was worth it. I was a little put off being by myself--usually we have a team--but I saw other people I had met at previous events, so it was fun. I got 3 Miss Piggys, Harry, Ron and Ginny from HP and Edward Cullen! I basically spent a little more than regular price for one doll.

Despite my DirecTv woes, I am finished with the new A-V set up here. I had to buy a HDMI splitter. Best Buy wanted $100 for one! Radio Shack had one on sale for $27 and I had a $5 coupon--much better. Just waiting for my Toy Story and SHrek to come in and it'll be a blu-ray-palooza!

I see its been quiet here. HOpe everyone is enjoying some holiday cheer in some warmth!

Ok, so I was pouting a little bit since my birthday because most of my so-called FB friends negelected to wish me well. I just spoke to my cousin who told me that it wasn't posted on his end. So it wasn't that all those people didn't care, they just didn't know! I feel so much better. Kinda like being back in high school and being the kid left out.

BF kinda made me mad too. I was so happy about my dolls today. He thought I had spent too much money. I was put-off a bit. Me...spend too much money? I mean, it was extravagant and unnecessary, but I spend most of the year trying to save money and be a smart shopper, can't I splurge on myself? I work and save and coupon, its not like I'm frivolous. This is my thing. And its a clearance sale at that!

I'll just hold my Twilight Edward doll close to me and enjoy his company.

Had a mostly quiet day today, although the kids did get a bit vociferous this evening. Tuna casserole for dinner, with 5 more meals tucked away in the freezer! Making Shepherd's Pie tomorrow. YUM!

DS was so funny tonite. He has to "dress nice" tomorrow to go with the ex, as they are taking pictures. He decided to wear his new white shirt, but since he shoved it onto the shelf in his closet instead of hanging it up as he was told, it was a wrinkled mess. So HE ironed it!! He was all excited about doing it. Did a pretty good job, too! Hmmm, an ironing slave...
