Good afternoon ladies. I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Sunday! We went to church this morning and then took my son to a German restaurant in town. He loves all things German.

That's all fine and good but I do not think German food is particularly my cup of tea. Oh well, the kids enjoyed it and the place was "unique". Best of all I didn't have to cook! Leftovers too so no cooking tonight either.
Ev, so are you one of the foreign travel planning pros around here? Got any info on Germany or England? I'm thinking it would be nice to take my son someday. He's also a Sherlock Holmes fan and wants to see 221B Baker Street in London. I'm thinking, if it were to ever really happen, while we were at it we might as well stop in at
Disneyland Paris since I would have to give up my DL trip to go. Anyway, as far as I see there is no harm in planning way ahead of time!
D&D, so glad DH got to hang onto his job! Here's hoping things start looking up before the next 3 months so that they do not have to layoff any additional workers.
I'll be sure to fill ya'll in on the Disneyland plans from time to time. I need to sit down and plan our dining ressies in a few days cause my 60 day window will be here before I know it. It is amazing how fast it starts rolling after 100 days! Wish I could pack up everyone here that dreads the family Thanksgiving get togethers and take you all with us!
Jo, you may be the only one I have ever heard of who would miss my "mini-books". Yes, I do tend to ramble. Guess I try to make up for the dry spells in between posts!

I do hope you make it to WDW for
free dining. I think it is totally unfair that they don't run those type of deals at Disneyland. I could sure used some free dining. A realization came to me AFTER I changed our plans that Thanksgiving Day is blacked out on our APs so we will have to pay an additional $50 each for blockout passes to be in the park that day. On top of that, I asked my son where he thought we should have our TG meal and he said let's have 2 meals that day at our 2 favorite places since it will also be our last day. Great choices! Of course, one of them just has to be one of the most expensive places in the park. What the heck... it's only money, right? Good thing I've been saving up Disney gift cards. Looks like I better get a few more stashed!
DL55, I will be sure to give a full Thanksgiving report when we get back!
I bet that has to be scary to have a panic attack! Good you know now what to watch for. We went to one of DS's tournaments last weekend and it was extremely noisy and packed with people. There was a guy that was very close to us whose face was disfigured from being burned. My DD got so nervous she was in tears. I wondered if she might be close to having a panic attack. I ended up having to take her outside to calm her down. We spent the rest of the day waiting outside of the main hall where it was quieter.
Kitty, that would be very hard to stay onsite and resist the urge to be in the park more than one day. You must have better will power than I do! I have no doubt you will come up with a great plan.
Sukie, welcome back. It's always good to get home but still a bummer to be through with your vacation. November will be here in no time so maybe you will get to do something else worthwhile then.
LITC, poor Walter. Hope he's at least loveable when he doesn't feel good. Mine always were. Thank heavens that teething doesn't last too long! Can't wait to see the pictures!
