D&D, so glad DH got to hang onto his job! Here's hoping things start looking up before the next 3 months so that they do not have to layoff any additional workers.
I'll be sure to fill ya'll in on the Disneyland plans from time to time. I need to sit down and plan our dining ressies in a few days cause my 60 day window will be here before I know it. It is amazing how fast it starts rolling after 100 days! Wish I could pack up everyone here that dreads the family Thanksgiving get togethers and take you all with us!

My DH's dept will be gone by the end of the year beginning of next for sure. They are moving his work to India and they will be finished by then. So he either has til Dec. 31st or maybe March 2011 but no chance of staying longer unless he tries for a job to relocate.
I would LOVE to spend Thanksgiving with my on-line family. Especially to see you at DL. That would be so fun.

Question......I usually book using a TA. But if you book yourself on Disney website, you can still make payments, right?

Yes. I have only booked on-line or over the phone and I could make payments.

JOCAmom You can make partial payments on the website. I have heard of problems if you are not careful to make sure you have checked the partial payment box. Some people end up having the whole amount payed at once.

Hey everyone---Happy Monday! I guess I feel no ill effects from hitting the big 60! It was a great day. Mom and I met friends at 11 and got home around 8. We went to Shady Maple. They always have great food. I even splurged and had pineapple upside down cake for dessert plus sugar free blueberry pie and a taste of mom's pound cake! They even had shrimp on the buffet---a fav of mine and they were good! The place was packed. We spent at least an hour in their gift shop. Mom got me another Jim Shhore Mickey for my bday. I don't think my shelf is big enough. I bought myself a Snowbabies statue---2 little Snowbabies making a ice cube snowman. I have a collection of snowmen made of those clear cubes. I got 20% off for my bday! We then went to the Flower/Craft Warehouse. It's not as great as it was. Then on to the outlets in Lancaster. We only did 3 stores but everyone found something to buy. We really weren't starved but went to Bob Evans and had breakfast things to eat. It was a fun day!

Walter still looked so cute. I agree that every one wasn't up to his usual cuteness but it's hard to keep it up 24/7! Especially with teething problems! He still was working that tongue! I especially liked P6 too---the way he was cutting those eyes looking over his shoulder! I hope he gets to grab into a real cake---that picture was cute too---he'll be a cake mess!

We'll just have to work our TKer magic on that job D&D.

Hey Marie---DL for Thanksgiving! YWAH! It sounds like it's worth the extra $ to be without family. Will they be full that day? I know my friend said DW will close due to capacity.

Love hearing all those planning wheels in motion for next trips! That's just so much fun. I miss out on some of that by staying with friends but it's soooo much cheaper!

Kitty---you need to educate that bf! Being a girl isn't cheap! You just know how to work it more than most of us!

Dang, I thought I was in the clear with my phone bill....but I FINALLY got in touch with someone at my water delivery. Turns out that they've been sending bills (I have my doubts though) to my email, which I presume went to my spam so I didn't see it. So my bill is now $116! Outrageous! The lady on the phone was very nice, but overall, I think their company policy is to make things super difficult. Ugh.

MK, we would go to Disney somewhere around August 19th. I'll probably only get 2 day tickets and if we feel like going to more parks, just upgrade when we are there.

Well, at least it was hopefully straightened out Kitty. I don't open all my spam either---if I cannot figure out who it is from, it gets deleted. When I rented, someone new bought the apartments. I was notified by the new landlords by mail but I didn't open it because they used their company's letterhead/envelope and I sure didn't need any roofing stuff when I rented so I never even opened the notice!

I'm just old fashioned that way. I know, its bad for the environment, but I like getting paper bills. I like having a paper trail, just to keep things straight and I have a tab on things. I would think that a company would have to tell/ask you if you wanted email bills only? Or maybe its the other way now...you have to tell them you want paper statements.

I kinda think they did it on purpose to charge me late fees.

I was just on Expedia and noticed that I have something called THankYouPoints. I only had a little over 3K, but enough to cash in for some gift cards to Panera. I decided it was better to cash out now before I forget about them altogether. More gift cards for the magic drawer! Or I may put them in my Mom's stocking...she loves to have breakfast there.

I'm being a grinch and keep looking for cheapie flights. I'd like to get under $200, but I'm not having any luck so far. Will hold out for Wednesday night, and then make my final decision. Spending $250 now AND getting a vacation for a free ticket (valued about $1000 at least) next year for Dad is really a win-win, right? Why am I hesitating?

MK, I try not to get paper bills anymore. Only because I have a habit of just letting them pile up after I've paid them. Online bills are just one way for me to cut down on the clutter in my house.

I have this horrible habit of clicking the "delete all" button on my email. I am far too ditzy to pay everything online. Papers do pile up around here (what doesn't though?) but the cats love the shredder, so I get some aggression out and entertain the furry beasts while I"m at it.

My bank encloses the cutest copies of paid checks with my statements. Too bad they're evil and mean that I have less money. But they are cute to look at.

I was watching the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Philippines did really well, made it to top 5, but she totally messed up the answer portion. She got an easy question too. I would think that would be the easy part! The hard part is staying that skinny....her waist is 22 inches. I swear, my ankle is 22 inches!

Miss Mexico won. She is gorgeous.

We don't have a shredder here but a big file cabinet. I print what I need....bank statements basically. Everything else gets sent to my yahoo mail account in separate folders.

M&N, I don't think Kyle has had a problem with Brad before that race. Carl and Brad have a history. But I bet if Kyle and Brad get into it again, they will both get fined.

I think it was totally uncalled for during intros what Brad said though. Brad does need to be taken down a peg or two.
They asked Kyle what he was really like off the track...he said they would have to ask his girlfriend that.

I usually like Brad because he doesn't take crap from the veteran drivers but he is pushing it lately. He hasn't quite earned the respect to pushing it as hard as he has been. You'd think with the amount he's been dumped lately, he would back off. Must be hard headed.

I saw a tv show a couple of years ago where they went to a couple of Nascar driver's houses. Kyle was one of them. For the amount of money he probably has, his house was very low key. And at the end of his segment, he just took off his shirt, with his out of shape body, and did a cannonball into his pool like a big kid. He just seemed very unaffected by his wealth.
