I never tried the bidet...was just told not to use it as a toilet. Maybe it's something you have to use more to appreciate it. I have seen houses on HGTV that have them. Are they becoming popular here too?

When I stayed in France, we were expected to use the bidet and not toilet paper. I thought I misunderstood when it was first explained to me. I never got used to it and frankly, it was really not that refreshing. I'll say it. I love toilet paper!

I'm with you. Nothing about water being squirted up the behind sounds refreshing to me.

I have pets....a bidet would just be another water bowl for them and just something else for me to clean. No thanks! I guess it would be more environmentally friendly, especially with recycled water systems.

oh M...that's my life. The dog thinks its something special to drink out of the toilet. And if he's too hot, my cat sleeps in the sink. I can't tell you how many times I"ve reached for the faucet only to find that its furry!

Great!!! Now I'll never hear the end of it when we get home. Good, expensive TP and even good paper plates. Next you'll be telling me that you even have Bounty paper towels to use.

MK, our dog has never tried to drink out of the toilet. Of course, her legs are just too short to even attempt to reach up there.

Good morning ladies! Its beautiful outside, and my laundry is out there sunbathing.

I sent an email to Wendy, and she's due to return home tonight. Tomorrow we're getting together for breakfast before she picks up DS from camp. At least I hope so--she may be jet-lagged! I'll let you know.

I'm back..did anyone miss me?
Tuesday..took truck in to fix the wet carpet problem. Found out the part for the recall was in so got two problems fixed at the same time. Of course they claim the front shock is leaking (only 33,000 miles). I think I'll have my regular mechanic check it. DH was invited to play golf at a course he has been wanting to play. So I sat and read a book at the clubhouse while DH played golf and the truck was being worked on. This took all day because we had to go to El Paso.
