I thought things were looking up for my brother and his wife but I just found out that the cops were at their house last night for domestic violence. She was told to leave by the cops. I just got done sending them both an email telling them they just need to get the heck out if this is what is has come to now. Why do they have to be so stupid?

Good Morning TKers!

It's dark and dreary out right now. Rained over night which I wasn't expecting. I guess I need to pay attention to the weather more.

I will share because I don't want everyone worried about me and my family. It is actually more about friends of the family

I work with two ladies, a mother and a daughter...the daughter made my cupcakes today as a matter of fact. I got word later this afternoon that their son/brother was found dead on the side of the road this morning. He was a Norfolk Police officer, but was off duty. Here is the news story for those that are interested. Details are sketchy.

That is just so sad. I hope they catch the son-of-a-bee that did it!

Just got the rejection email. I'm actually more sad than I thought I'd be. Pouting a little too. I wanted to be at Disney with BF on my birthday!

Poor Kitty. Something better is about to come along.

Has anyone seen the commercial with the baby rolling around in one of those walker things? I think it's an ad about emailing photos and printing them off? It just so much reminds me of Walter---cute blondie, round face!

JO---its so sad when people hurt so much that it gets misguided and out of control. Hope they can find a better way to work things out and be civil.

Pike, that storm came through here too. Really insanely high winds and heavy rain. I knew there was a storm front coming through, but the weatherman did not emphasize that it would be that crazy out there, or else I would have put the car in the garage.

Ev, I threatened my Canadian cousin. No coffee crisp, no picking up at the airport. Not really. But now he knows just how serious I am about the stuff!

I have been getting a ton of political calls this week. Its annoying me! Between the calls, the mail and the commercials, I am so glad to be vote and get it over with next week....

Morning! Strange weather here today. We didn't get any of that storm you have been talking about but it is very warm here. Humid too. It's just strange for this time of year.

I'm just waiting for my SIL to call. I hate that it's come to this with them. I think they need to separate (different households for a while) and get their heads on straight. If they want to work on their marriage after this, I think it has to be on neutral grounds. I just keep stressing to them to think of their son and how what is going on right now is not good for him.

That's sound advice, JO. Sometimes things just seem clearer with distance or a change of scenery. And they have to think of their child first. Sometimes its hard to forget that others are just as affected as you are when you're hurting so much.

Good morning...Came home this am so I can meet friends and run around some. The weather is dark and dreary. Mom had tears because I am staying at my house tonight...I said that I should be the one crying---I have a sore tooth and have a 7:30 dentist appointment tomorrow. I told her I would get her in time for her hair appointment. She's doing much better---can even tie her shoes but is still sleeping in the recliner.

No way did I mean the little guy was as cute as Walter! No one can beat that little guy. The commercial just makes me think of him when I see that little one scooting along in his walker.

Must get going...I'll be back tonight!

Glad to hear Walter is doing better my DD has asthma and yes it is very scary especially when they are young.

Holly love the new do! It looks great. Glad you didn't feel to bad after chemo.

I guess I spoke too soon. I had a bad reaction yesterday to one of the infusion drugs. I was achy and had a fever of 103 and looked liked I'd fallen asleep under a sun lamp.
I know that if you have a fever of 101 you have to go to the hospital but, last night David called MDA and they told me to take Tylenol(something you shouldn't do on chemo usually) and to take a Benedryl.
It seemed to do the trick but boy do I feel fuzzy today. At least I'm not stuck in the hospital. I hope this isn't going to be the case for the next 3 months. I have to have that infusion..it's for the bone cancer.

Oh well, it's all a learning process from here on out.

Holly sorry to hear that. That happened to my Dsil when she was going through treatments and they same she didn't want to go to the hospital but they do tell you if it spikes. I think they told her the same thing to take the tylenol and see if it brings it down. Having chronic hives and sometimes living off of Benedryl is most likely why you are fuzzy. That stuff just zones you out. It could be just your bodies reaction but doesn't mean it will happen all the time.

M&N sorry forgot to post earlier, glad your mom is doing better.

Ooh, sorry that happened! It usually happens in the beginning of therapy because all the yucky stuff is coming out of cells as they are attacked. Watch your temperature and stay hydrated. A lot of people find their symptoms will abate if they're properly hydrated. Also, you'll be losing a lot of cells and that's where the water is!

Hope you feel better. They do make a non-drowsy Benadryl if you need it.

Try Smart water it has electrolytes in it. Has anyone notice that when you first start typing on here there is a delay????? Almost like when they have a 30 second delay on awards shows so they can beep out the cursing of the winners.
