Some of us do watch and enjoy the Olympics. I put a lot of effort into avoiding Olympic updates. I even leave the room when NBC gives there nightly report. For what it is worth, I reported it too.

It seems that people should have the right to vent if they want. I don't take it to mean they care any less about "REAL" problems.

some of us HAVE seen it, the Canadian channels have already shown the whole thing. You all have the right to be annoyed. I would be too if I was waiting until tonight. Still watch though...there is a lot of awesome skating in the finals.

I stand corrected. I did wonder if people with satellite too have an opportunity to see it live, but for the most part, here in the US I doubt very many have seen it already.

Oh well....life goes on.

That is the point!! I was looking forward to sitting in front of the TV tonite to watch a beautiful Olympic sport, where the points between first and second place were miniscule...that would have been fun and exciting for me and I am sure many others.

Ever stop to think that maybe they thought they were doing something good?

Maybe all the PMs and complaining scared them off before they could change it or anything.

If you all are THAT worried about knowing something before you watch it on TV you need to stay off of the Internet until after you see the event for yourself.

Well thank you very much for confirming what we were all hoping was a false statement (and spoiling it even more). And I didn't open any threads about figure skating today. I haven't even opened any news sites. This was spoiled in the thread title. Very bad form and I think it's cruel to post spoilers like this. I will not chill out. I will NOT give the OP any benefit of the doubt. I don't believe the OP thought she was posting something good. Obviously, since she didn't even bother to change the thread title. She posted a spoiler, plain and simple. I am PISSED!! And I hope karma comes around big time.

Um...but we didn't open a thread about skating. It's just right there in the title for everyone to see.
To alot of people the womens skating is the best part of the olympics. I think people are just bummed out they couldn't watch and be suprised.
Yes, I know others say to stay off the internet if you don't want to know, but I am actually able to navigate around without seeing any results. I learned how to do that purposely.
It's just not common curtesy to post something so important in a thread title like that. I don't care if they (or anyone) is new to bulliten boards, it's just common sense.
It's a bummer is all.....
