It may not be your shoes rubbing blisters on feet I used to get blisters too an did not change the type of shoe I wear in the parks.

1 I started using Monostat Smoothing Cream on feet simular to body glide an can be used on any part of body it's odor less so can be used by both sexes.

2 Ped or another brand of diabetic socks these socks are designed not to cause foot problems or to cut off circulation both problems that those with diabetis needs to avoid. They are on the pricey side but I bought enough for a disney visit over a period of weeks stashed them in my luggage so they going to last me a long time.

3. Change socks mid day esp in hot weather If possible shoes too I wear the same kind of shoe morning an evening but rotate them anyway to allow them to dry out an breathe

4. If prone to corns get the gel corn toe sleeves made by Dr Scholls I been using the same toe sleeves for several trips too (note self buy new ones) mine was slippin off last visit.

5 By doing the above things I have pretty much eliminated blisters I did get one last trip but it never bothered me MY feet have been so much happier.

You can get a dermatologist to prescribe a strong anti-perspirant called Hypercare, which is applied to the feet nightly at bedtime and washed off in the morning. After 10 days of treatment, your feet will not sweat for about a month. No sweat, no blisters.

This is especially good if you have sweaty feet in a cold climate, like hiking, where your feet get cold when they are wet.

it's all about the socks. Last year was the first time I didn't get blisters and it was also the first time that I wore sport socks. The ones I have our from Old Navy and they're absolutely fabulous. They come in pretty colors too :)

I have horrible problems with blisters. I think I need to see a doctor. I have tried every trick in the book. Small shoes, big shoes, wide shoes, cheap shoes to the priciest shoes. Peds, nylon , sports socks made for running, blister block. I even tried drowning my feet in vasoline??? :confused3

But the one think I did not try was the Monostat. I will definately give it a shot.

The blisters get so bad I can barely walk. It gets to the point to were I actually considered renting a motorized scooter.:scared1:

Moleskin usually works for me, as long as I put it on before I get the blister.

When we go back to the room mid day I change my shoes and socks. When we go back to the parks that evening I put on a different pair of shoes. I also use baby lotion, and baby powder. I have only ever gotten blisters my first trip to disney years ago. I also change shoes and socks as soon as they get wet. I usually pack a total of 4 pairs of shoes: 2 pairs of park shoes, 1 pair pool shoes, and ballet flats for the room or a nice dinner. Don't forget extra socks, usually 2 per day(we wash if we run out)

What worked for me was a pair of Keen Newport H2s (which I read about here). I wore my pair of well broken in cross trainers on my first day at WDW and ended up with terriible blisters on one foot. I spent the rest of the trip in the Keens with no problems. Maybe because they're sandals & as such well ventilated so any sweat would evaporate?

I did start going for long walks well in advance of our trip in both the cross trainers & the Keens so that I could identify any potential trouble spots ahead of time. The Keens have a tendency to rub the little toe on my right foot but as long as I keep that toe taped up it's fine. With the exception of the blisters that I got on my first day the rest of the trip was totally blister free. The Keens were a lifesaver.

moisture wicking socks and bodyglide on feet on the morning and I'm good to go walking all day

Some people sweat WAY more than others, so Body Glide and wicking socks, while useful for some, are not solutions for those of us that have REALLY sweaty hands, feet, pits, etc. I am the guy at the gym who looks like he just got off Kali River Rapids.

I post this reply to every blister thread, but people still keep trying these same, worthless solutions.

If your feet are not wet, you cannot get blisters. The blisters occur from heat, caused by friction, lubricated by sweat, between your skin and sock or shoe. If your feet are dry, and you are using 100% polyester socks (that is important too) you WILL NOT get blisters.

And coating your feet with vaseline is second only to walking on hot coals for acheiving blisters!

Maybe that's why I get so few blisters at WDW. My feet stay pretty dry most of the time. I wear cotton socks, nothing special, and I've been wearing New Balance walking shoes to the parks for years, also nothing special but they are comfy and not terribly hot in the summer.

Crocs work great we haven't had any blisters for the last three years wearing them we go for 10 days and walk all day

We've been slathering on the vaseline along with two pairs of socks every day every trip for a family of five since 1998 not a single blister, even with new sneakers!!

And I've done NOTHING for 36 years in the infantry and almost that long going to WDW and have never had a blister. Everyone is different

I wish I had your feet. I was told to stay away from cotton.
