Tipping with DP?

Now that the tip isn't included in the Dining Plan how do you do it?

My husband I are trying really hard not to carry cash around with us and we prefer not to carry a debit or credit card either. We like to take our Key to the World card and make purchases with that or use Disney gift cards.

Can you use either of those to leave a tip? Probably not huh?

Just wondering what the easiest way is. If we have to carry cash it's fine but I prefer not to because it'll just way us down lol.

You can tip with a credit card or a credit card that is tied to your Key to the World Card.

There is a post on the other board about Raglan Road, which is not owned or run by Disney. While they take the dining plan and you can use credits to eat there, they are apparently not set up to take Disney room key charges. I also do not know if a restaurant not owned or run by Disney would take a Disney gift card. You might want to bring along some cash or a regular credit card if you are eating at a Downtown Disney restaurant other than Cap'n Jack's, which is the only one owned by Disney over there.
