Tipping at Teppan Edo?

We are going to be eating lunch at at Teppan Edo in April and we will be on the dining plan. I know the set up here is a little different than at other restaurants. Do we tip the same?

I did when we went there. I am a very genrous tipper anyways. I figured that some of the tip went to the chefs who were very entertaining.

Dumb question here.

Is Teppan Edo included in the Dining Plan? We were thinking of doing the DP in October and I didn't see Teppan Edo included in the list of participating restaurants. I'd love if it was included because DD wants to eat there. She loves it!

ETA: OK, I just answered my own dumb question. I went back and looked at the list again and Teppan Edo IS on the list. Yeah!

Hiya, The tip is the standard 18-20% unless you have 6 or more in your party I believe. I used the dining plan when I went in November. I had a problem. I ordered a appitizer which isn't included in the DP so I put a $20.00 in the book they hand you with the bill. They took that as the tip and charged my room for the appitizer which was not my intention. I also left a tip on the table. So be very clear if you have any extras like alcohol or appetizers you are paying out of pocket for.

Thanks for you responses. We have a Japanese Steakhouse in out town we love and we tip the cook and waitress. I'll keep and eye with ordering extras. And yes it is on the dining plan.
