Team shirts are always fun. Last year we did Tinkerbell with a volleyball and a quote that said, "Teamwork makes the dream work."

***There is usually a HUGE pro-shop set up at the OCCC. Two years ago they brought in HUGE boxes of VB shirts, shorts, socks, etc. We bought my DD 5 Under Armor VB jerseys for $25!!! They had similar overstock stuff last year.
***If you think the girls on your daughter's team will be nervous have your coach schedule a practice on Tuesday. The practices are held at the Wide World of Sports at Disney. It really gives them a chance to get over their nerves.
***If this is your DD's team's first year at Nationals don't miss out on Opening Ceremonies. It's REALLY long but it's an awesome experience. The format is very similar to an Olympic Opening Ceremony.
***Something I didn't know was before the first year we played is that in all likelihood you will either only play at WWoS one day or not at all. It's my understanding that they TRY to make sure all teams play at WWoS at least one day but sometimes it doesn't work out. We didn't play there at all the first year and only once last year.
***Take a sweatshirt when you are playing at OCCC. It can get a little chilly in there.
***Buy one of the miniature VB's from the VB proshop. It's a great item to (1) have to the coaches and players sign as a keepsake and (2) have the players sign to give to the coach.
***Make sure to sign up for a time to introduce your team on ESPN3. It's usually up front by the entrance doors near the officials tables.
***Be prepared, the official Nationals apparel is EXPENSIVE!!!
***Lastly, if you do get the chance to play at Disney's WWoS, watch out for the baseball players. THEY LOVE VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS!!!! LOL
