Tinkerbell 5K & ½ Marathon Bib #'s

I'm 3315. I was excited to see my sister and I had back to back numbers, until I realized she is one lower then me and my 10K time was 2 minutes faster then hers :confused3 no need to split hairs, but if you knew my sister you would understand ;)

Oh. My. Stars. I am 9224.

9224.

Is it based on estimated time? That's TERRIBLE. Did I say 16 min? LOL!

OH WELL. At that point, I wish I had 10000! :rotfl:

I just looked at the list in the first post... based on that, at least half the participants will be named either Lisa or Summer :rotfl:

My name is Lisa too!

Bib #'s - yay!!!

Neverland 5K: mine is 1521 and my husband Kevin's is 1519.

Tinker Bell Half Marathon: 4210. Anyone have any idea what corral this might put me in and how many corrals there will be?

And let me see if I understand this correctly: there are an estimated 10,000 runners, and they number the bibs 1-10,000 based on anticipated finish time? Smaller numbers towards the front?

I completely understand. I'm the same way!! :rotfl2:

There are 5 corrals, A-E, and yeah, the smaller #'s are up front.

Updated everybody!

I'm #2351. DEFINITELY seems ambitious for me - I'm a solid middle-of-the-packer. :lmao:

I am sure it is because a lot of people are walkers or just don't submit times. I was 8000 something for the princess last year so to be in the 3000 seems crazy for me too, but given my friends submitted times and bib numbers for the princess I wasn't completely surprised.

I think this run is going to be a bit smaller than some of the others and maybe that's why we're getting lower numbers than we're used to ;) I'm normally in the 2-3 thousand series of numbers lately and this time got 1524...but used the same race and time as proof for all of them! I'm hoping 1524 will land me in B this time and not A...A would be waaaay too intimidating :scared1:. I guess I can always just drop back a corral if that's the case though.

Oh! Bib numbers, fun!

I'm #606 for the 5k and #6800 for the half.

I'm really excited for the 5k... I've never done a night race before! Also excited to get my second Coast-to-Coast over with in January and by running two inaugural events (Chip and Dale Relay and Tink)!

I think this post needs more exclamation points!!!!

5971 :goodvibes

Jusacuz, how's your injury? :flower3: Hoping I'll finally see you at the Tink 'cause I haven't seen you at any of our local races yet!

I'm miraculously injury free right now and hoping it will last. I've been on the treadmill (not a fan of the cold weather) a lot and had some ankle issue for awhile, but that and my knees have been cooperative for the last few runs. :)

For sure how about a few :yay: :woohoo: and :jumping1: Good luck this week-end! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

:yay: Yay for being injury free! I'm not a cold weather fan either -- been doing the Kroc -- 12 laps a mile. :faint:

That probably has a lot to do with it, although I didn't submit proof of time for the Princess and had an EFT of 2:56 and this time I submitted a time and an EFT of 2:35 so I am sure that helped bump me up too.

I am hoping to be in B this time, but it really doesn't matter much I guess. I just never want to be in the last one. I was a little sad that I was in D for the Princess, but the wait to start wasn't as bad as I had envisioned it to be, but I would still rather start earlier then later.

:cheer2: Yay for injury free!!

OK this is wierd.
3 of the people in our group have numbers that are 20000ish.
But with everyone posting, I was thinking that the numbers weren't over 10,000.
Any ideas??
