Tinkerbell 5K & ½ Marathon Bib #'s

OK this is wierd.
3 of the people in our group have numbers that are 20000ish.
But with everyone posting, I was thinking that the numbers weren't over 10,000.
Any ideas??

Someone on the Tinkerbell Facebook page said:
bibs in the 20,000 range are the "team" bibs

But, now how do you tell what corrall you will be in?
We don't get that until we pick up the numbers, right?

I figured the teams were in the 20,000's. Corrals will be a little hard, b/c this is the 1st race. But based on your #, I think you'd be in A. When I looked at the corral set up on the race instructions, it showed that there would be 5 corrals. W/ 10,000 runners, I would guess 2,000 per corral? :confused3 Not sure how the teams will be corraled though. I submitted a 2:45 time, and my bib's in the 3800's if that helps at all.

Okay, got my bib #...

I am really quite worried about being in the final corral. I haven't done any races to prove my time but my current running time is a 13.5 min mile. I really don't want to get bogged down and was hoping that if I wasn't in the final corral, I'd have time for bthrm breaks or photos if I wanted. Now, I'm really worried I won't have time to take photos. My husband is issuing a challenge for me to complete in 2:30, but I think he's nuts! :) But, the competitive part of me wants to show off for him. Crazy, even after 10 years of marriage I still want to impress him. HeHe :))

What ever corral you get into---just get there early and get to the beginning of it. That's what I do and it makes a difference. Bathroom breaks --try and plan and remember the bathrooms in the parks are open for use. Hope that helps.

GL to you! I ran the Princess with a 13:30 pace (2:57) and my goal for Tink is 2:30-ish. I was hoping to a sub 2:30 but it hasn't been going to well lately so I am back to the 2:30 range.

I swear, I feel the like the ONLY person who can't get my bib #!!!! I'm so not a patient person....LOL. I hate not being able to get my number yet. Seems like everyone else has been able to find theirs and I'm guessing I won't be able to get mine until Disney actually puts up the link? Oh well. I'm getting excited as this is not only first my first Disney race but my first half! Woohoo!!!! My goal is to complete in 2:30 but I submitted a time of 2:40 based on my 10k time so we'll see :confused3 I can't wait

Awww, I think that's cute. Sounds like you have a great relationship. I don't think you need to be worried. If you're running about a 13.5 min/mile pace that gives you a half hour buffer which should be plenty of time for photos and breaks. (2.5 min ahead of pace x 13 miles). Of course it's going to be different for everyone, but thinking back to all the half marathons I've done my Disney race times are only about 10-15 minutes slower than my non-Disney races. And I typically stop to take photos at every opportunity.

I wouldn't be too worried. Like Vicki said, the bathrooms in the parks will be open so that'll help a little. As for pics, that's the positive and negative being at DL. The area outside of the parks aren't owned by Disney like in WDW, so the only character photos are going to be in the parks themselves. There are a few entertainment areas outside of the parks and the mile markers, but nothing that would take up a lot of time. B/c of this, it's a little easier to get a faster time, in my opinion. :goodvibes

Updated!

Thanks everyone for the reassurance! I'll not fret and just try to be early in my corral, as recommended. I'm getting so excited!!!

Bib #10575 here.

This is my HM and my first Disney race. I don't recall what time I put in when I registered, but since my # is so far low, I probs entered 16:00 :rolleyes1

Oh well, it'lll still be a great race!:cheer2:

The waivers are officially up on the website again, so I would check. When I went on the site this morning, my 5k # still wasn't up, so I called trackshack, the site that does the waivers and they were able to fix the problem~ they spelled my name wrong. They're fixing it and I'll have it at the end of the week. So if you're still not listed, call them before Disney and they should be able to fix the prblem. Here's the # for you: (407)896-1160. Good luck!!

I called....still not in there :confused3 He thinks it's because the last "upload" of the registered folks was on 12/28/11 and my group had us all register on 12/29/11...one day after! But he said to check back when they do the next upload, which will be by the end of business this Friday. He double checked my date of birth, etc. and it's all correct, so I think it's just a case of missing it by one day. Oooooh, the waiting!!! I'm NOT a patient person....:sad2:
