Tink Got Me My Very Own Sharpies!- A Surprise Bday TR (3/8 Final Thoughts)

:thumbsup2 Yup! May 27th-June 3rd. We're booked at POP right now, but I'm thinking we're going to upgrade to POR since we'll have my mom with us. Fun!

Sorry about the inlaws.....really, that's all I can say....:(

How fun!!! Are you doing Star Wars Weekend? I'm not a Star Wars fan but Randy and Aisling are and hey, it's Disney right?!?! ;) :rotfl:

We planned on staying at POFQ this trip but then we got the deal to rent DVC points. You might want to look into that option if you want a little extra space.

Sorry you had to see that ugly rant about my inlaws :( I know to a new reader I sound like an evil witch but this has been going on for quite awhile :rolleyes1 We used to live next door to them for over 5 years so they are having a hard time adjusting to us moving.

You're welcome and I hope things get better for you today when you get home.

It did..they were gone ;)

Sorry again for the rant everyone but between my cousin's wedding, and the text I got from my BFF who was supposed to be in town from CA this weekend and had her flight cancelled, and then them being at my house...it was just too much :rotfl2:

ugh I would be ranting too
hope things are better soon

#1- I didn't know you had an ulcer. How terrible! I swear my work is going to give me one, but no, it just makes all my hair fall out.

#2- glad they were gone. You have got to be a little less subtle and accommodating- like just do.not.eat until they leave. Or say, "you must be in a rush to get home and get dinner going. . ." Haha. No really, we have discussed this many time and she/they are too rude.

#3- if you give me her number I can call her at 2 am when I am not sleeping some night. she will have no idea why an Arkansas number is calling (well, unless she knows about me, then you are in trouble!)

Wow, just wow at that wedding! I too got engaged over Christmas and my wedding isn't going to be until next May. What short notice when guests have to travel. :sad2: So inconsiderate!

And I completely agree...I hate people just dropping by. Thankfully it doesn't happen often. I need lots of notice before people come over - like at least an hour. Don't people understand this? :confused3

It sounds like you need a :grouphug:

I do have an ulcer! AND a severe Vitamin D deficiency. That's why I found out from finally going for a physical after 3 years. Oh and that I'm "fat"..but this I knew!!! (My dr and my BFF's mom are friends so I think she has a certain comfort level with me that she doesn't with others because she skips right over "overweight" and goes to "fat") Anyway, I kept telling Randy that I thought I had an ulcer but he thought I was being a hyperchondriac! NOPE!!! I do have one! Luckily the 20 (yes 20) pills regiment ended yesterday  No more "morning sickness" (cuz that's all I can compare it to). 50000 mg of Vitamin D a week will apparently do the trick for the other issue. And a trip to the Florida sunshine :rolleyes1

And you know they don't *get* subtle. Now a phone call from LR might be good though

I was the same way. I was engaged Valentines Day 2001 and didn't get married until Sept 2002. Plenty of time for people who had to fly to make arrangements.

The thing with Randy's family is that his mom was a widow by the age of 20 (motorcycle accident) so I think she felt good when lots of people were around her after that and just had an open door policy at their house. Door is never locked. You can walk right it They used to make fun of me when I would call before coming over. So they don't truly get that it would be a big deal for others NOT to do that. I grew up opposite. My mom is a little OCD with the cleaning thing. She freaks out if there is that day's mail on the table and company is over :rotfl: I'm not a clean freak by any means. My house is generally neat but if people are coming over I would like 15 minutes or so notice!

I did need a hug...or comfort food :) I came home and Randy had made chicken tacos so all was right in the world again LOL!!!

Glad to hear they were gone and you are feeling better! No need to apologize for venting, we all need to do it sometimes :goodvibes

Btw, do you think if I tell my boss I have a Vitamin D deficiency, I can go to FL too?! :beach: Not that it is anything to joke about, but I need the sun, and heat!

Actually as a PSA, you should ask your Dr to be tested for it during your physical. They are finding that TONS of people in NE have it since we don't get outside in the winter. As Vitamin D is technically a hormone and not really a vitamin, it can lead to a slew of other issues. And if you are planning on having kiddos at any point, it can lead to infertility issues. Crazy huh?

Vitamin D is very tricky because if you wear sunscreen, you can't absorbe. I have to wear sunscreen whenever I step out my door because I had Melanoma. So I basically NEVER get Vitamin D from the sun! But it's a no-win situation. Don't wear sunscreen- good vitamin D levels but "c-word" risk. Wear sunscreen- Vitamin D deficiency. I forgot what she told me my level is but it was INSANELY low. OOOPPPPSSSS :rolleyes1

OK...now back to our regularly scheduled TR!

Pics for the next day are loaded into PB. I'm just resizing them now. Please ignore the fact that it's noon and I have a job :ssst:

Same here... It's my lunch. :rolleyes1

No worries on the complaining. I don't think of it as complaining. You just need to get things off your chest in a loving Disney-obsessed environment! :thumbsup2

I have been reading about Vitamin D as well, even here in the south where people use a lot of sunscreen, there is new concern about kids being vitamin D deficient. I have started giving my kids a vitamin D supplement in addition to their Flintstones multivitamin. I take a multivitamin and a Vitamin D every day as well.

Sorry you had so much stress the last couple of days. Hope things get better quickly.

Looking forward to an update.

Good idea! I really need to start giving Ash a multivitamin. I know she doesn't get enough from diet alone...despite what her Pedi keeps trying to assure me.

Oh the irony. Yesterday my hot neighbor did a drop by at my house. Somehow this did not bother me as much as when my inlaws drop by ;) :rotfl:

That image is awesome! Def make a t-shirt :thumbsup2

You have a hot neighbor? I should do a drive-by :rotfl:

BTW you enabler, my Kingdom Keepers books arrived yesterday :rotfl:
