Timing for breakfast

I am thinking about having breakfast at Boma on my Animal Kingdom day. I have a reservation for an 11AM Up Close with Rhinos tour. Do you think a 9am ADR for breakfast will give me enough time to eat, get to AK, and get to the start of the tour (it meets in front of the safari)?

PS- Not looking to be at AK for rope drop as I can't ride FoP.

possibly doable as long as boma seats you timely. but you really have to be out of there 10am i think, to leave 30 min to get to AK, 15 minutes to walk to safari, and be there 15 minutes early.

but will you enjoy it with the stress and rush? i don't think i would. AK park breakfast options are basically tusker house and quick service. consider sanaa to go for a lovely breakfast in the area with more flexibility.

Personally that would be too tight for me. I want to enjoy my meal and the 'normal' transportation to allow to arrive anywhere when moving from one location to another is 90 mins. Even though the 2 locations are not far from one another you need to allow time for:
- being seated in restaurant
- dining
- paying
- walk to bus
- wait for bus (can be up to 20 min wait)
- ride to AK
- walk to security
- security
- enter park
- walk back to Rhino tour.

That is a lot to do in 2 hours if you want to enjoy a relaxed breakfast.

Also, you will likely need to arrive at the Rhinos tour a set amount of time before the tour actually begins.

I think it’s kind of tight. I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my breakfast because I’d be watching the time. I did the Rhino tour last month and you have to get there 15 minutes early. I think we actually may have left about 5 minutes early. Enjoy the tour, we loved it!

I agree with the others. To me the joy of going out to breakfast is lingering over that last cup of coffee. Not let’s eat and move it.

Agree with others - too tight for comfort and what might go wrong - plus the walk all the way to Harambe once you get to AK. I'd feel way more comfortable with Boma breakfast at least 30-60 minutes earlier to make it less stressful and enjoyable (if that's even possible)!!

One of the worst decisions I made was going to Boma, then heading straight to the parks.

After eating all that food, I was ready for an early nap, not walking for miles!

I would suggest a light breakfast somewhere, then dinner at Boma to cap the day.

We did Tusker before our Rjimo tour last month. We did NF at 9:15 and even then o was watching the clock. We had plenty of time to eat and use the bathroom as there are NO bathrooms on the tour.

I changed my breakfast ADR to 8:40. I am traveling solo so not worried about how quickly breakfast will go, or lingering; it'll be me and my Nook, hahaha. I love b'fast at Boma and haven't done it in quite a while, although DD and I had dinner there in August! I booked the b'fast ADR and will see how I feel about it as time goes on (but only 55 days to my trip!!).

Excellent - one of our favorite breakfast spots. Enjoy breakfast and also the rhino tour. We did that tour a few years back, and it's very, very interesting.

Honestly I might try to bump it even earlier if possible. Even though it's a buffet, there could still be a delay in being seated depending on patrons there before you. It would stink to not be able to enjoy breakfast - or worst case to have to skip it and face the penalty - or to get to DAK too late to make the Rhino tour because there was a delay in seating at Boma.
