Here is the current update....

I got an email from Disney with a link to a discounted photopass CD. I think I'm going to buy it and see if our friends want to split it with us. I'm not going to pressure them because of $. If they want to do it fine... if not fine.

Our friends are finally looking at menus and cannot believe the prices. When we went out to visit them during the summer, we talked about the menus and prices. I guess they are just going through this stuff now.

I am already canceling Akershus and I might have to cancel something else too. I know I just made a Kona breakfast for Wednesday 3/10 for all of us but I think I might cancel that too. Why have them spend $50 for breakfast if we can eat for $5 at our house. Branda is the one that wanted to go there but I think I'll have Mel tell her I canceled it.

That leaves CP, CM, 1900 PF ADRs. I refuse to cancel 1900 PF for Juliana's birthday. Monday we are in MK and I think I'd rather keep CP. So that leaves CM as the one to cancel and it makes the most sense. We are in AK that closes at 5 on Tuesday 3/9 and have CM at 6:30. We can leave AK go to the house, eat, then hit DTD or just hang out at the pool.

I don't want to pressure them into stuff they don't want to do but I refuse to not have any sit down meals. I know on our first trip we only ate at CMs as our only TS meal. We ended up booking this the day before we ate there.

yeah, CM looks like it would be the one, but ONLY IF YOU WANT TOO!!! You know.. THEY could go back and have a cheap dinner or go to DTD by themselves and pick up some Earl or WGPE then you could meet them later. I really wouldn't sacrifice the few TS meals you have left because of their lack of planning!!

When we plan vacations, we always do a little research ahead of time. I think a Disney vacation is a whole different ball game. Being on these boards opens your eyes to see what is out there to experience, and it also makes you realize that you do need to be on top of things or you will be left behind.

I think I am more mad that they are making these decisions now, and not that we aren't eating at a particular place. I know what ever we do will be fun but this 'last minute' need to get involved is leaving me like this:

It is very true that we can still go to CM. I'm going to have to crunch my numbers and see if it is worth it to buy the Tables in Wonderland card. I would still think it is.

We scheduled 2 days to go off on our own (Wed, Fri) but now it is down to one day (Fri) since Dave and I are going to the Mets/Braves game on Wednesday.

The pink Minnie cake. Instead of Minnie, have Cinderella on top. Juliana loves pink so can I have a pink cake with Cinderella on it? I don't like the 'paper' looking Minnie.

We also have talked with Juliana's wish granters and have found out that they cannot book GKTW till 6 months out. We asked if we can switch our 1st choice to December and they said no problem. It looks like we will be going in December.

Walk alllllllllllllllllll the way up Main Street, "No, of course, we're no taking walk-ups". "Ummm... Mom, I told you 6 months ago we needed reservations." "You did??"

well if it makes you feel any better we just got back Saturday and had the worst waiter of our trip at Kona. He kind of ruined the whole meal for us. He got very sweet and fake nice right before he delivered the bill which made me not like him even more!! However, we loved 1900, and CM and CP wasnt open but we sure missed it!! Where do you think you will stay in December?? WL is so beautiful in December! I am staying there in February for our next trip and have just fallen in love with it.

We got no snow! Schools were canceled and nothing! Crazy

I think you can...Just say that some of your party is not going to be able to make it. Of course you could see ahead of time if there is availability for 3 and then cancel too.

They called for 10-20 inches here and I think we got 4-5 inches. I feel gypped!

We are going to stay at Give Kids the World Village in December. That is the typical accommodations for kids going on their Wish Trips. I've never been to WL but we will be checking it out in March cuz we are eating at WCC.

OK that's good to know. I'm going to keep CM for now and see what happens as we get closer. Even if I cancel the day of maybe that will open something up for a walk up.
