Time to Adopt a Platoon!!!!

Time to help alleviate the homesickness/lonliness our soldiers feel while assigned overseas!! You can adopt soldiers individually or your group (work, girl/boy scouts, church/synogauge youth group, etc.) can adopt a platoon. You are entailed with the wonderful responsibility of sending cards/letters, care packages, snacks, etc. Send a little cheer to our soldiers who can't be with family/friends!!

My Girl Scout troop is in the process of adopting a platoon!

Great idea Kristy, this is a great program. Let's also remember our Navy men and woman bu adopting a sailor.

I am sure each branch of the service must have an adoption program, I wish I had other links to post for the other services, but since we are Navy, that is the only one I know. Perhaps someone else on the DIS has a link for the Air Force and Marines.
