Time of menu change for Tambu Lounge?

Does anyone know what time of day Tambu Lounge switches the menu from the “lunch” menu to the “lounge” menu? We really want to try the bread pudding and heard it’s only available in the evening but I’ve read anywhere from 3:30 when Ohana opens for dinner to 5:00, some also say 4:00. Just hoping for a clear answer!

After they reopen, the menu may change entirely, so I'd temper my planning a little until we see what happens. They seem to be orienting it even more to "a waiting area with booze" in the reconstruction.

Ohh good point! I was just thinking of going there on arrival day in the afternoon because everyone raves about the bread pudding. It looks amazing!

As a side note, you can also request the bread pudding for dessert at Kona Cafe in case you plan on eating there for dinner. I love that restaurant, very good food!

We are doing a breakfast there! I would totally eat the bread pudding for breakfast but I’m guessing that’s not an option . I also read you can order it from room service if staying at the Polynesian but we are at the contemporary.

Yes, that is true. I snagged a dinner reservation there so I can get my Ohana bread pudding and lapu lapu fix!

OK i just looked it up on the app again to look at the menus and now there are times listed for each menu! I swear that wasn’t there last night!! It says they serve breakfast starting at 7:30, lunch, and lounge menu starts at 4. This may change after the close and reopen of course.

I wish! It's only available at:

1) Ohanas (duh!)
2) Tambu Lounge (after a certain time, which I forgot).
3) Kona Cafe (You have to ask for it)
4) Polynesian room service

Yes! It’s on the MDE app. You can go under Dining and tap the Tambu Lounge and it says “view menu”. You can scroll across breakfast, lunch, Lounge, and late night menus. It doesn’t list the bread pudding on the Lounge menu but they do have it.

Thanks. I just checked it out. It looks like breakfast is only drinks, but lunch is expensive table service like food. It seems strange to order a $35 steak at a lounge.

Was there over New Years and can get bread pudding at 4 at Tambu bar. We went at like noon and no go. We also had dinner one night at Kona and no go there either. So we had to snag a 10pm resie for Ohana our last night...to get our bread pudding fix.

That is strange considering the “lounge” menu has reasonably priced apps etc! I was only focusing on that menu.

it always cracked me up that the "breakfast" menu is basically cocktails!!

They used to list it. We got it last October, and I checked a couple of months ago to get a price for planning our December trip this year. It was listed then. But I checked it out the other day, and it wasn't listed. It made me think that it isn't offered anymore. I hope that is not the case!
