Time for summer reads

I just finished the bood Summer Blowout by Claire Cook it was just okay. Did anyone else read it? and what did you think?


I just start One for the Money. Hope it is just as good as everyone says it is.

Finished Tailspin by Catherine Coulter, as usual, good quick read. I'm halfway through the Last Oracle by James Rollins, I'm having a little trouble with it, it's a little bit out there for my taste. Next up from the library is The Rogue by Danielle Steel, I never buy her books any more, I read one of hers at the beach spring break (first one in quite a while) so we'll see about it. Also on the list for Nora Roberts' latest, Tribute. Quick throwaway read was something by Diana Palmer (absolute trash, can't even remember the name, lol) but I plowed through it in less than 24 hours

You might also like to read Janette Oke. She tells a great story from a Christian perspective with a touch of romance. Nothing risky or hot just the softest touch of romance. The way it should be. My 12 year old loves to read her, too.

Now if you want to read something on the other side of the spectrum. JD Robb has a great series "In Death" and Keri Arthur has a series out, Riley Jenson is the main character, that is highly loaded. Both are graphic and I will NOT let my DD12 read!!!

I love Janette Oke....they are a quick read and she is a prolific writer.

While you were gone I finished Annie G. Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral and Un-Bridaled. Both very good and Annie is coming to you...you'll have to tell me if you think of the same DDA'ers while reading it.

I can't wait! I've got some books to ship to you, too!
