How much time would one suggest spending at this outlet. My fiance loves to shop, but I would prefer to spend my vacation time at the parks. Would two hours be sufficient for someone who loves to shop and window shop? I've never been there so I don't know how big it is.

We usually spend almost an hour in the Disney outlet alone, so I would say you need more time!

time. This a huge place. A true shopper could easily spend 6 to 8 hours there. It is easy to spend 30 to 45 minutes in the 2 Disney Outlets each and we found the Universal Store to be a blast also, easily another 45 minutes just looking at all of the stuff. You are already up to 2 plus hours and that is only 3 stores. Good Luck getting your spouse out of there.

Where is this outlet store??? I am a die hard shopper and would love to go here while I'm down in Orlando :) :) :)

I would dedicate at least 3-5 hours for this place. It's not just one large mall, it's a series of smaller malls. You actually have to walk or drive to the next set of complexes. And you've also got the Belz Designer outlets and the regular factory outlet places. My friends and I dedicated two nights to this place (shopping from 5-10) each night. And we didn't even scratch the surface (as some complained... LOL) :D

I would skip BELZ and go to the Designer outlets. They are 10 minutes from WDW and much nicer than BELZ. They are very new. And the Disney Character store is there also. It is right off of 535. :)

Belz can be an all-day thing since it is big.

Dream on...2 hours is probably not even enough for someone who hates to shop. Check this link for the directory for the main outlet mallsbelz outlet malls. Most of the stores are also in any outlet mall try to convince yor fiance to spend her time in the store that aren't by where you live. I'd go after lunch and have a dinner reservation that evening. That will may limit your time.

Belz has also taken over the nearby International Designers Mall with a lot of upscale shops like Saks, Brooks Brothers, Cole Hahn, Bose, etc. So there's even more to do now.

I would suggest dropping off your fiance at opening time and schedule a pickup for closing time. ;)

The first time we went to Belz we shopped for 21/2 hours and were 20Kg over our weight limit going home.LOL Last year we went for 6 hours and it was great. We upgraded our baggage allowance before going to USA and we were only 20g over.
Belz is the best attraction in Orlando outside WDW!

I like the sound of Designer Outlets but are the items the genuine articles? I would hate to buy fake.

I think, worst case scenario, you could spend all day there. That would be going into every shop and walking aorund every shop. Last time we went, we spent as little time as possible.

There are actual "real" shopping malls in Orlando. Belz is just the most visible since it's right off the Interstate. West Oaks Mall would be my suggestion, but it takes some maneuvering to get to. (i.e. off I-4, head like you are going to the Downtown Disney hotels, stay on Apopka-Vineland for a good 20 miles, etc..etc...etc....)

We usually spend a day going round all of Belz. The kids enjoy it as they know they are going to get something new.My DD is 12 and wanted Timberland boots over here they cost £150 so she saved her money and got them at Belz for £45!!!Maybe now you'll understand why we like a day there!!!!:)
