great update Lesley, you all did GREAT on Lauren's make over looks EXACTLY the same as BBB for sure!!

Funny about Lauren and Cinderella, I got that alot during the trip of them questioning what was real etc... The whole tink thing threw me..

However your video of Tink makes it look more real, compared to where we were sitting she was directly above us, so you could see everything, made it hard to convince them..

Can't wait to hear about your birthday , I am sure there were lots of little surprises

Hi guys, I submitted an email tonight to Disney for a new position, the position would be called "ambassador of Goodwil" I would roam the parks during late night parades and shows and watching to make sure people didn't cut in front of others who have been holding their spots. Upon seeing such activity my catch phrase would be "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!!!!!" and then I would banish them from the parks never to return again. I would salute my fellow Disney spot holders and fly away on a zip line to meet tink

Great update , I loved that you guys did the BBB yourself in the room which saved tons of money , I'm thinking of doing that also just giving her a makeover myself and save that money for something else for her to do ..

Which way was better for you & Lauren, doing the real BBB like last year or Your own BBB in the room this year ?

I'm not sure what to do, our own or go to the real thing ?

When I was at MNSSHP last September my DH and I picked out our spot about 45 minutes early for the parade. Well we were sitting when the people in front of us stood up so we had to stand. Well all of the sudden we hear from behind us "this is for the kids can you please get out of the way so they can see the parade". I shot back maybe you should have been here with us 45 minutes ago if you were so concerned about getting a good spot for your kids. I felt bad but come on. We had waited and they had only gotten there 5 minutes before the parade started.

Congratulations on the DVC purchase, how exciting for your family.

I am so happy that you went to Wishes, it is my favorite fireworks show. The local park 4th of July celebration was just not very exciting. I love the music and the pacing of the show. I am not big on parades, we like to the do rides during those times, but seeing spectro with the castle in the background would be cool. Having people push in front of you after waiting an hour, Not So Cool.

Really love Laurens home made BBB makeover, I love her poses, sorry Tim you just don't look as cute as Lauren. Way to go with involving Luke in the fun of the makeover. I love how teachers know all the tricks to involve every child.

Great update! You both did a great job with Laurens makeover. Glad you finally got to see Wishes. The Parade crashers really aggravate me , that is my Disney pet peeve since we wait over and hour too.

What a MAGICAL night! Wishes is so magical to me....what a perfect night! And you did a GREAT job on Lauren! Way to save some major $$$!!! I would love to eat in the castle one day...but until I have a girl I don't think I have a good reason ;0)

And YES....PLEEEAASSSE do something special for boys Disney!! Like a BBB for boys that get to transform into their favorite Disney character...pirate...buzz...woody, etc.

I agree with the transformation into favorite characters, something boyish would be great. Yes, Grand Haven Michigan, CAN'T WAIT!

I hate when that happens with the parade cutters that happenend to us during the halloween parade and that is when the Brooklyn comes out in me and I handle it Brooklyn style and it is not pretty because we also wait an hour or sometimes more for a spot. Tim you are a real trip that was funny.

Great Update Lelsey! So glad you got to see Wishes! Lauren looked adorable with her makeover! Tim did a great job on her hair! I have to say Luke looked so handsome that night too, with his polo shirt on and nicely combed hair! I LOVE his smile in the ppic. with Chip and Dale!

Great update, and BTW--thanks so much for the WL video tour!!! Tom and I have wanted to stay there for so long, but our plans for that resort keep getting postponed!! After seeing the video, it just makes me want to stay there that much more! Do you guys think that you will still go back to WL now that you are DVC members---are the villas as conveniently located to the rest of the resort?

Also---the end of the video with Tim dancing was hilarious!! He is just like Tom--see video camera taping, must perform!!! I am sure you have seen that dance MANY times before!!!

AND I think the people crowding you out at the parade is RIDICULOUS!!! I hate when people do that--so rude!! I think Tim would make an excellent minister of goodwill--loved the "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!!" Too funny!

Sorry for all these random thoughts--I think they should do some type of Pirate make-over thing AND a breakfast/lunch/dinner thing for the boys--so unfair!! I know they do the "cool dude" package at the BBB, but they need their own "guy" place!

Glad you enjoyed the video, we plan on staying a VWL in upcoming trips now that we are DVC owners, in the video when we are walking up the ramp to go into the lobby, the villa's are right there to the right so they aren't to far away at all. Thanks for reading/posting.

Being a mom of a boy, ITA that there really needs to be something special for our guys too.In all the time I have been on the DIS people have been talking about it but DIsney just doesn't seem to be catching on yet. Soon I hope.

They do have the cool dudes package at the BBB and 2 years ago I took my son to the main street barber for a haircut and they put red dye in his hair and all of this other stuff and he really stood out and he got picked for the pirate show and it was really funny because they kept talking about his hair.

I have seen the cool dudes package and considered it but I wish it was in a more "boyish" location, Luke looked in there and said he would never do it in there. The Barbershop is a good idea but I wish they did reservations.

And I just loved the updates!!! I think y'all did a perfect job of Lauren's makeover. Next trip just tack on a day, and hold your own BBB in your room letting a bunch of little girls from your resort come by, and charge the parents 1/2 of what it costs for the real BBB!

So glad you thought our BBB measured up, everyone just assumed she had gone there all night and we went along with it. The b-day Father's Day day was good so stay tuned.

We were basically if you look at the castle, to the left, when we turned left we could see the walkway to Frontierland, right behind the rope facing the castle.

I went back and forth and back and forth on this and didn't cancel the reservation until we got down there because I didn't want to regret it. I am glad we did the BBB once, if you haven't done it for her one time then I say do it. If she's already been then do it yourself and save the money. We talked it up as her special day/makeover and she LOVED it and didn't complain about not going to BBB one bit.
