I had missed your update earlier with the WL video tour.....let me just say.....I NEED to stay there! It looks absolutely amazing!! At least we will get to visit this trip with our WCC dinner!

I don't think I realized that you live in Cincinnati! We usually make a couple of trip up there every year to visit Kings Island or the Zoo! We haven't made it yet this summer, and I'm not sure it is going to happen with the summer half over and we still have 2 vacations coming up! We will see!

Just found your awesome TR and spent the last hour reading through the whole thing. Great stuff

I have to say, I do not like those "parade intruders" either. Every time we wait for a parade at Disneyland or WDW, there is always someone who tries to push their kids in front of us or the 90 y/o grandma's wheelchair (really this happened to us at Disneyland--I was upset after waiting an hour or so for the parade). I think Disney needs to integrate "Parade Police" or something

Also, just wanted to wish you all Happy Anniversary!! Many congratulations!! Hope you guys have a wonderful time on your trip.

Can't wait for your return and the next installment.

Well, hello DVC neighbor! I'm so excited you guys took the plunge. Where did you end up buying? Saratoga or AKV? Hope you love being a member as much as we do! There's nothing like being told "Welcome Home" everytime you go to WDW!

You guys did a superb job on Laurens "BBB" make over. If I saw her in the park, I would've never known the difference. I say we start petitioning Disney to do a meal with the Pirates or something! The pirate cruise was cool, but there was no interaction with any pirates! If the girls get one-on-one time with the Princesses, the boys should get something, too! I completely agree!

Tim, let us know if you ever get the Ambassador of Goodwill job! If you need any references, I'd be happy to submit one on your behalf!

That is good to know, was it a crowded Christmas time in December or low crowds. I also couldn't justify an hour and a half total out of our day when we only spend 1/2 a day in this park.

Well, it was early December, like the 10th or something, so it was probably considered low attendance, though it really seems to be getting busier and busier at that time with the Pop Warner kids and MouseFest going on.

Thanks for the review of Yak and Yeti. It sounds great. I will definitely be doing that on the next trip.

BTW, have you ever thought about buying into DVC? Since you go every year, it might be something to look into. I will be looking into it in about 2 years, after I pay off my car. You can get an AP at a discounted rate and you can get the dining plans also.

Well..................... we had a FANTASTIC trip to Gatlinburg, what a fun time with Tim's family, there were 22 of us in a large cabin, the kids had a blast and so did we. We enjoyed everything the area had to offer and had so much fun!!!
Well, thanks to Sooze and Natale we are (as of tomorrow) OFFICIAL DVC members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had been talking to Sooze about it for a while and then Natale posted that deal and it was a win win, I couldn't believe it. Tim and I are THRILLED! We will be owners at AKL. The new village sounds incredible, the resort sounds awesome with it's own zero entry pool, water slide, water play area, lobby,restaraunt, pool bar, everything we love about WL plus more. AND it will have it's own bus stop so you don't have to trek all the way over to the main bus stop. WE ARE SO THRILLED!!! We ended up getting the 160 points for AKL and with that we get 160 BONUS FREE SSR points that we can use at any of the 500 resorts around the World, we think next summer we'll stay at AKL in our home resort for 8 nights and then head to Myrtle Beach and stay 7 nights FOR FREE using the bonus points, WE ARE SO EXCITED!!!
Thanks to all of you for your kind posts while we were away and those of you who decided to come out of "lurkdom" and post, we just love that. Now that we are DVC owners our family will have Disney memories to share with you all for a VERY long time!!!!!!

Then I need to get some more out quickly to hold you over since Tim and I leave for our 10 year anniversary getaway on the 17th, busy busy busy, gotta love summer! Update tomorrow guys!!!
