Tim and Lesley Year of Million Compromises/TONS pics- 8/5 help me pg. 164!!!

This was one of the best meals of the trip (o.k. I now realize I’ve said that about Kona and OHana’s too, but this food was TOP NOTCH) I know understand why it is so hard to get a reservation here (I should really shut up I’m making it harder, guess I should say it was gross huh?) we will return here next year FOR SURE!!! Maybe our anniversary dinner!?!

I remember when you debated "dumping" this meal.... glad you did not and boy this makes me excited for our dinner there. Is the steak you got Lesley too mushroomy- I think that is what I want... but not a big mushroom fan.

Isn't it nice to have a dinner with "sleeping beauty." I hope I have a few! Love the sleeping stroller pic too.

That is such a smart idea--to take a bus to the EMH park and another bus home from there--seems simple, but I never would have thought of that! Just may have to use that tip!:thumbsup2

I remember crazy bus land at EPCOT for POR.... smart move! I remember last trip taking the POFQ bus back from MK to escape a crazy line and walking over to POR knowing I would save lots of time....

Also desserts... which one was better- the moose or the smore?

Then the show began. As it did there was the sweetest CM (who looked to be a sanitation worker by the uniform) he was about in his late 60’s and he came up to us and were talking to the kids, asking where we were from, if we’d seen the show before, that we chose one of the best places to watch it,etc. He asked Luke if he wanted to start the fireworks (Luke thought this was so cool) He had Luke “blow out the lights” to the torches around the lake, Luke truly believed he started the show and it was so sweet of this CM to do this, it is people like this man who make Disney such a magical place to be!!! When the show was over Luke gave him a big hug, it was very cute and it seemed to make the CM’s night.

brings a happy magical disney tear to my eye!!!! so sweet!

my plan was to take a bus to that park and get a bus from that park and then take a bus back to POFQ from there, I figured that would have to be the better way to go, we were looking at 1-2 hour wait here at Epcot EASY. So the person who answered didn’t seem to care about the bus situation and told me MGM had EMH that night. So we went to the MGM bus stop, it was practically empty, got right on a bus.

okay....so i have a question. i thought the disney buses only ran from park to resort and vice versa...in other words, not from park to park? am i wrong about this? just wondering because that could save us some time next trip!

Oh Lesley....you've got me wanting more NOW :goodvibes Your lead off to the next installment was too much. lol.

I LOVE your tip on the EMH and bus situation...it's a good one:thumbsup2

Anywho...I CAN'T wait until the next part....

Lesley, thank you for another great update. I enjoy all of the pictures you include.
I was debating on whether to try LeCellier in Sept. but heard that it's always a long wait and not really a place for kids (dark and congested) so I decided not to book.. now I am regretting that decision. I will try everyday from now until Sept to see if I can get in. Wish me luck. (thank goodness we already have Kona and Ohana)
Thanks for the tip about the bus after illuminations. I will keep that in mind.
Cant wait to hear more about your trip of Million compromises.

Another Wonderful Installment! :cool1: My kiddos (DD6 and DS8) and DH even look forward to hearing/reading about your trip! Tim is soooo lucky...how cool to have 3 dreams in one trip! And now we are very excited about our Le Cellier ADR...it looks and sounds fantastic! Did you guys have Park Hoppers and do you recommend that option? As we plan our October trip (Double Digits today:woohoo: ) I always reference your TR and PTR! You should definately start charging for your services!;) If you have a moment, I'd love your feedback/suggestions on our itinerary (in Pre-Trippie). You definately make it seem like a blast to relive you're Disney trip...waiting patiently for your next update!;)

Kristi =-)

Lesley.. another great installment, thanks so much for updating so often, it's so hard to get into those trip reports that take 2 weeks for an update.

So Le Cellier, what were the other kid options like?
Glad you enjoyed it. The steak was the best kid option, If I remember right they had a chicken choice and Lauren got the pasta, very similar to the kids meal at all the other sit downs but the steak was the difference.

I know, I'm so glad we did it. I'm not a mushroom fan either, it is sooooo good, you'll love it.

It just kind of came to me as we were standing there in awe of the madness before us, we'd never done it before, worked out great!

Smore was better in my oppinion. We ordered those with Tim and my meals since it wasn't included on kids menu.

You know, I am sooooo glad I wasn't the only one who thought this, this year I noticed that at all parks they do have bus service park to park, this was a new discovery for us too, but YES, they do have buses going from park to park, very cool!
Hey, you added a girls trip, I'M JEALOUS, TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!

Glad you enjoy the TR, Good luck getting an ADR, soooo glad we didn't cancel this, I didn't find it dark, it really is a beautiful restaraunt, there were a lot of couples in there but it's Disney so kids were everywhere there too, great food, you'll love it!
Lesley

Glad your kids are into the TR too, how cool. PM me your itinerary and I'd be happy to look it over and help you if you need help, I seem to have a full PM box with everyone's itineraries lately, it keeps me very busy, I'd be happy to look it over though. I love to help.
Lesley

I think I am ready to start a Tim and Lesley Tip Sheet for our trip: desserts, spotting the Dream Team, Transportation! There is so much knowledge you share... with great storytelling!

Always a joy to read! You even put a :) to a bus situation that others would have went negative on!

Another great update. Even my husband is getting into your trip report. He was like what did they do today. :rotfl: I think next time around I am gonna have to give LeCellar a go. Love the stroller picture. Priceless.:thumbsup2

As always, another great TR installment! Le Cellier looks absolutely delicious! I couldn't snag an ADR for our upcoming trip, but I'm definitely going to keep trying now!

Lesley---
How cool that you got to meet 2angelsinheaven and her DH! I thought that they looked familiar in the pics and then I realized that she posts on this TR. How cool! :thumbsup2

I am so glad that you enjoyed Le Cellier! It is my DH's favorite restaurants at WDW. We go there every trip. IT is yummy! I love the cheese soup with the pretzel breadstick! popcorn::

Lauren looked so sweet sleeping! What an angel. I hope that her eye is ok.
That was really sweet of that CM to make Luke think he was really starting Illuminations!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Ugh...the bus stop for POR/POFQ.:sad2: I noticed that on our last trip that the bus stop que was ridiculously long every night of our trip. I felt so bad for all those people in that line. I was actually happy that I was staying at Pop.:rotfl: The Port Orleans Resorts more frequent pick-ups at night....at least that is how it looks to me.

Lesley- I cannot wait till tomorrow's installment. Another dream???!!! Great tip about watching Illuminations near Morocco. We are eating at Marrakech the first night at 7 pm so that will work out perfectly. I agree you need to make a sticky tip sheet. Do you have anything like that on your myspace page?

BTW Check out my sig pic. My kids and dh are avid Sox fans so they gave a big thumbs down in front of the Yankees store in Times Square. My dd favorite saying is Red Sox rule, Yankees drool.

Hey, you added a girls trip, I'M JEALOUS, TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!
Lesley

 we're just going for the weekend in september. my "peeps" (it's a weight loss forum i'm on here) are having a "peep meet" and i wanted to go to that. so me and a friend were talking about what we were gonna do for her 30th birthday and i suggested a weekend at disney with free dining. well, to make a long story short, we didn't get the free dining, but we are staying at OKW for free with a wonderful DISer who offered up her extra bed. :cool1: couldn't pass that up!!!

Give me a song.........and I will turn it out......it's your pick!!

Thanks Tim!! You're going to regret saying that. :rotfl: It's got to be a Disney song this time. I think the perfect song for you...is "Part of Your World" from the Little Mermaid. :thumbsup2 I'm thinking something like.... "wouldn't you think I'm a guy....a guy who wins EVERYTHING"

I know you can do it! :thumbsup2

Thanks, Lesley for another great TR update! I am loving reading your trip report and looking forward to your next installment!

Thanks also for the tip about taking a bus from an EMH park. I will have to remember that one! :thumbsup2

Great Update Lesley!:thumbsup2 So cute how Lauren fell asleep! Don't ya just love how easy kids can just nod off, wish it was that easy for adults! I love how you got to meet some Dis'ers! That was sweet of Darlene and John to buy the wands for the kids! Man o man did Tim have the Dream Teams number or what! Wish he was with us on our trip:rotfl: Tell Tim that being from Jersey we are HUGE Yankee fans and I smell a comeback baby:thumbsup2 As always LOVING your report and can't wait for more!

MMMMMMM Le Cellier looks soooo yummy! I think that we might try for a ressie there next year!

I can't believe the bus stop at Epcot! thanks for the tip though. I'll keep that in mind!

as always great pictures, and I can't wait for more!
