Tim and Lesley Year of Million Compromises/TONS pics- 8/5 help me pg. 164!!!

Hey Lesley, another great installment! How did you get a new stroller after the train? Was it difficult??

How exciting....:goodvibes So many Dreams...Lucky guy ;) I love all the photos you post...and expecialy those ones that show all the excitement and wonder in the kids faces (like the ones in Minnies house).

I can't wait for the next update :hippie:

What a wonderful day your family had. All those dreams are great!!!! Just to let you know we have been doing Disney for over 20 years and last year was our first ride on TTA. My son loved that ride. So now it will be a must do for us. I cant wait to hear the rest!!! Great installment:thumbsup2

This is the second trip report I have read of yours. I always think- Tim and Lesley seem just like my DH and I-until-the dreaded Yankee shirt. Tell Tim being 10 games out isn't soooo bad. Go SOX!!!!!:lmao:

Yet another great installment!!! :thumbsup2
We leave in 4 days now :woohoo: and I LOVE reading your TR and picking up tips from you!!! Can't wait for LeCellier report (that's 6 days away for us but who's counting right??? ;) )

2 more dreams?!?! WTG Tim!

We didn't ride TTA or Astro Orbiter. They are on our list for next year though.

Peter Pan has recently become my (newly) 4 year olds favorite movie. He keeps saying that he hopes to meet Peter Pan when we go back. He even asked if he could have breakfast with him. LOL.

Sounds like another great day, can't wait to hear about the night!

Wow! You guys get a lot of things done in a morning! Tim really was on a mission, so I guess it was "mission accomplished!" :)

Thanks for the tip about the snack credits. We will have to try that as we don't mind what we eat in the morning for breakfast. :thumbsup2

Just dropping by to say Hi! I have been reading all along, and am loving it!! I am so jealous that Tim won 3 dreams, what a lucky guy! Can't wait for more!:thumbsup2

Ha ha! I was going to say.. add a "YANKEE-LOVIN' DH" to our list of similarities! I was excited to see Tim's Yankee's shirt. I'm pretty sure you'll see one in my TR too. In fact, DH found an AWESOME Yankees shirt with MICKEY on it too! How perfect. (I'll post a pic of that eventually!)

2 wishes...in 1 trip......how AWESOME!!!!! Talk about being in the right place at the right time :cool2:
I am with Tim on the bird thing-can't stand them, actually fear them. But can handle the Tiki room, only because they are NOT real!!! Everything else in the world is real except those darn birds, (betcha didn't know that did ya ;) )
Very jealous about Daisy and Peter. We have never seen Peter anywhere. Where was he? We have seen Daisy near the train station but her line is soooooooo long, so we have never stopped. This yr, we'll check out toontown and hope for the best.
BTW-Are those balls really $54??? My daughter has one, I think she bought the smallest version and got a pack of extra "balloons" and I know she didn't pay that much. She is pretty tight with her WDW purchases. She bought it 2 yrs. and we still haven't had to replace the "balloon." We do love it!!
Looking forward to more.

Lesley,

THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! GO YANKEES!!!
:banana: :rotfl: :woohoo::dance3: :cool1:

Great TR Lesley!!! I am enjoying it!!

How old are your kids?? They are too cute. Last year when we went DS (now 3) wasn't tall enough for alot of the rides, so I can't wait until we go again next year to ride with him. But, we will have close to a 1 year old at that time so we will still have to parent swap!!

Thanks so much for the snack tip! I never knew that and my daughter loves her donuts in the morning! We always leave with a lot of snack credits left over and if I knew about the donuts earlier we would have left with none! Oh well that's why I love these boards:grouphug:

Tim is one lucky man! Wow, what luck he had on this trip!

Those balls are over $50?!? Are you kidding me? :confused3

Yay!!:yay: Another great installment!
I heard about the donuts/snack credit thing on touring plans.com and let me tell you, I was PUMPED to find out another way to save credits/money. (You also can buy a quart of milk for one snack credit. ) As much as I would like to do a nice breakfast, we're planning on eating quickly in the morning and rushing to the parks for opening time---NOW even MORE-SO knowing that it betters our chances of getting dream FP badges! Tim was SO funny! Did anyone give him a funny look for riding the Barnstormer without any children? :rotfl2:

I haven't been on the astro orbiter in a LONG, LONG time. So I was just wondering, is it worth doing even though I don't have kids?

We headed back to Tomorrowland to ride Space Mtn. Luke decided for some reason he didn’t want to ride so I told Tim I would take the kids on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (another attraction we have never been on- I know, can you believe it!?!) and that we’d meet up with him in the Space Mtn. Arcade after.

I'm surprised this is your first time on the TTA! I still can't help calling it the Wedway People Mover (commonly mistaken as WEBway People Mover). I actually think they should change the name back.
Last July, it started POURING when we were in the MK. We decided the TTA was our destination. We ended up staying on for at least 3 complete times around (I lost count). Of course, we had to listen to the same spiel over and over again, but we were all glad to have shelter from the rain. I think I'll skip it this time, as I already have ridden enough to cover me for the next few trips. :rotfl:

Stay tuned. . . .coming up is a sleeping beauty, dinner at LeCellier (YUM) smoochin’ at Illuminations, bus NIGHTMARE!!!!

Can't wait!!!

Peter Pan was in Adventureland by Pirates, accross from Captain hook, he was there every day we were there and we were amazed by the short lines! Yes, 54 dollars, couldn't believe it!!!!
Lesley

Great TR Lesley!!! I am enjoying it!!

So glad you are enjoying it. Lauren is 3 1/2 40 inches, Luke is 6 1/2, 49 inches.

Lesley

Tim is one lucky man! Wow, what luck he had on this trip!

Those balls are over $50?!? Are you kidding me? :confused3
He is lucky isn't he. Nope, 50+ bucks, couldn't believe it!!!
Lesley
Love it Lesley, you guys got a lot done for a busy day I'm impressed. I remember those Balzacks everytime we pass them now we laugh about the price, ouch! Tell Tim John can't wait for more man hugs...lol.
Man hugs comin' up :rotfl:
Lesley
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: that's too funny! i'm pretty sure the imagineers did NOT have that scene in mind when they designed minnie's house!

i share tim's hatred of birds, so the tiki room is a nice place for me to nap. but you're right - at least it's air conditioned!

i'm so jealous you guys got to meet peter....he's my favorite character and i've never met him!!! we don't like wendy though......wendy stole tink's man. ;)

and as far as tim getting the dreams.........can you say lucky duck????!!!! that's so awesome!
Give Tim a prop and it's all he needs :rotfl: that is halarious about Wendy stealin' Tink's man, never thought about it that way, but true, very true.
Lesley
So exciting to read about your Magic Kingdom day! We will definitely be getting to the parks when they open when we take our trip. Need to get as many rides in before the lines get too long.

Tim is a little "stinker" isn't he?.... Like they say men never grow up... lol

Can't wait to read about your evening at Le Cellier... That was one of our favorite restaurants. :thumbsup2
He is a stinker ;) We had a great meal at LeCellier, update coming soon.
Lesley
Thanks for another great update. It looks like you had another great day. I can't believe Tim won 3 wishes in one trip.
I love the picture of Luke and Lauren holding hands. I would love to get a genuine shot like that of my boys holding hands in WDW... there would have to be lots of pixie dust flyin' for that to happen.
Do you take a camcorder to the parks along with your camera? I was just curious b/c we are trying to decide if we want to bother with the camcorder this year. I hate being bothered with it in the parks but I always enjoy reliving the memories through the years.
Thanks for sharing.
I know, he sure is lucky. My kids are super sweet to eachother and then it turns, you know how that goes. We did not use a camcorder, too much to carry.
Lesley
Tim looks too cute in those ears!! Every man in the world should wear mickey ears!! haha...cant wait for the next chapter!
I know, men look SEXY in ears!!! :thumbsup2
Lesley
Hey Lesley, another great installment! How did you get a new stroller after the train? Was it difficult??
Wasn't difficult at all, just empty it out, leave it at the station, take your namecard and get another one at the station, there are tons at every station.
Lesley
Yet another great installment!!! :thumbsup2
We leave in 4 days now :woohoo: and I LOVE reading your TR and picking up tips from you!!! Can't wait for LeCellier report (that's 6 days away for us but who's counting right??? ;) )
Glad you enjoyed it. 6 days!?! TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!!

Have fun with TTA and Astro Orbiter, that's what I love about Disney, you can go year after year and still experience something new every trip!
Lesley

Thanks for the tip about the snack credits. We will have to try that as we don't mind what we eat in the morning for breakfast. :thumbsup2
You are welcome on the snack credits, you get the best deals at the resort gift shops, you can get the large bag of chips there too instead of the little ones they have at the food court, another tip for ya :thumbsup2
Lesley
Just dropping by to say Hi! I have been reading all along, and am loving it!! I am so jealous that Tim won 3 dreams, what a lucky guy! Can't wait for more!:thumbsup2

So glad you are enjoying the TR so far. I don't know if anyone gave him funny looks, he didn't wait for me to find out :rotfl: however I know Tim wouldn't care if they did ;) . You know, I thought astro orbiter was cool, I'd do it without kids, the view is incredible, I wouldn't wait longer than 20 min. for it though.
