I just saw in my local paper this morning that "Tigger" has been acquitted of all charges by a jury after an hour's deliberation. The small article was a wire service report in the national section.

This guy should sue the mother for millions! I detest frivolous lawsuits, but if ever one was warranted, this is it. He lost his job, his fiancee left him, and he forever carries this stigma with him. No amount of money can erase that, but people can't continue sueing just because they think they can make a fast buck. A man's life was ruined just because someone was greedy.

Stepping off my soapbox.

So glad to hear he was acquitted. I do hope Disney offer him his job back & backpay.

Thanks Ricksje for putting up the link to the article.

I am really glad to hear that he was acquitted, but it's really hard to say that the system worked in this case. This poor guy has really lost a lot and suffered tremendously. Count me in as another person who thinks that somebody had dollar signs in his/her eyes when they decided to pursue this case.

I hope he is able to get his life back together.

I've worked in law firms for 20 years (geez has it really been that long) and it's getting increasingly frustrating to see what people will sue over. I'm glad it was in his favor.

:wave2:

I'm glad he got off. The sad thing is how messed up his life is now as well. I knew that it wasn't true once I heard about it. If he was taking a photograph, why would he do such a thing and have it on film? It's just so stupid. And then to hear that the mother said that it happened to her on another trip to WDW, it just seems so fishy to me. Hopefully his fiancee will see this and take him back.

I, too, am glad he was acquitted. He's certainly lost alot as a result of this mess. I agree that he should sue the mother.

I'd bet the farm that the family thought they were going to get millions from this. Ha!

I am glad that he was aquitted as well. I feel bad for him.

I will admit, I have been touched in some private areas by characters while they have thier arms around me during a picture, but I never once thought that it was done on purpose or in an inappropriate manner. First off it is not like they can feel anything through those costumes, so even if they did realize where they had thier paws, they couldn't feel and second they can't see that well so they don't really know where they have their paws.

I appreciate all the characters at WDW and all they go through. Not only are those costumes heavy and hot, but then they have to deal with kids pulling and grabbing at them

I'm glad that he got off. Hopefully, he'll get his job back @ WDW and his personal life will get back in order.

Sorry, but am I the only one who found this comment hysterical?

I have a summer home in the gutter... it's quite nice this time of year!;)

The damage that this woman has done is irrepairable. She has messed up this poor man's life all for nothing. I feel very bad for him because this is going to haunt him for a long time. It all goes back to this money hungry sue happy world that we live in....its very sad indeedy and if Disney gives her one dime...they are even more foolish than she is.

I think there is a special place for folks like this.......and it ain't cold there....

O.K. I admit it didn't cross my mind at first. It is really rather funny!!  The gutter can be a rather fun place!

No, I'm down here in the gutter with you. ;)

I just live my life in the gutter. I heard you can't do PS's there so figured this was the easy way to go. :teeth:

I think that mom and daughter should have to face punishment for telling lies in order to attempt to get money from Disney. I say they should have to go work at Disney in July and wear a costume ALL DAY LONG!!

Okay, not really, but I do think they should be ashamed of themselves. Sorry, find it very hard to believe that he knew where his hands were anyway, considering the fact that they have a hard enought time with the kids's autograph books with those big ol' gloves on!!!
