Tiger Woods hospitalized due to accident

That's true, but I wish the new media would move on. It's hard to even drive down the road outside of Isleworth due to the number of news vans parked there.

you should stop and leave a note taped to the gate:

"Tiger, you didn't make our meeting at the motel"..

hehehehhehehehe

you could get your 15 minutes!!!

I agree 100% with this. People who cheat are scum and guilty of the worst breach of trust imaginable (ok, other than molesting their kids) but that is no reason to resort to violence. If you are cheated on call a lawyer and take care of it, do not assault anyone. This goes for men and women. I'm sure if some female celebrity's husband beat her for cheating it would not be condoned by anyone.

As far as why he would leave at 2am, who knows and who cares. What celebrities do in their spare time is of no interest to me. I lead an exciting enough life that I don't need to latch onto their lives for excitement. Why do any of us care what Tiger or his wife do unless we know them personally? I just don't understand the fascination with celebrities personal lives that we have in this country.

Yeah exactly. People are acting like Tiger is not allowed to leave his home at 2:30am. He can do whatever he wants, he's not under house arrest. Maybe he had the munchies and was going for some junk food. Leave the guy alone.

Local news here in Michigan just said Tiger and his wife aren't to be found...law enforcement was told to come back tomorrow and that they were going to release 911 calls tomorrow too.

Sadly celebrities aren't "normal" everyday people. I agree with leaving them alone but some celebrities put themselves out there specifically for the attention. Not saying Tiger is, but he's in that group of people that alot of the public, have a fascination about because of his wealth and celebrity. Having that kind of following is also a compliment for them if they are getting the attention for good things such as charity work and positive rolemodeling. Tiger gets alot I think because of his rolemodel for kids with his golf. I remember seeing all the clips of him as a kid with his dad playing golf. I think his dad gave him the nickname Tiger.

I think the Jon and Kate hoopla is rediculous, its like the scene of an accident you can't take your eyes off of. But I agree, leave them alone, some issues are meant to stay private.

What bothers me most about this is that the first news stories were saying he was in serious condition. Next thing we heard was that he was released with some facial lacerations. Next time save the serious condition alert for the person who really is in serious condition!

Maybe Tiger got home at 2:00 a.m. and this was how his wife encountered him and he got back into his vehicle to drive away, and backed into the tree.

That isnt' the way news media works, it's always about FIRST, not about ACCURATE

I agree with all the conflicting reports. The whole thing sounds fishy though. It sounds like they are evading ?'s from authority and his representative downplayed the whole incident when he left the hospital yesterday. The authorities were saying "serious accident" upon arriving on the scene, while his reps were saying "minor accident" when he was released.
:confused3 What is it? If he was unconscious with cut face and blood in his mouth and his wife had to get him out by blowing out the window with a golfclub...sounds a bit more on the serious side. Won't know the true facts until they talk though.

How many "normal" people could tell the State Troopers that the couple was not available to talk as scheduled ?

Do you mean, how can anyone tell the police that they aren't available to talk to authorities? I agree. If it was you or me, police wouldn't except that, would they? Don't know, I've never been in trouble :rotfl: I wouldn't think they would. When they want to talk to you, you don't tell them, how bout tomorrow, Im not available today LOL

One of the news stations questioned that. They said anytime someone is taken to the hospital from an accident, the police report is marked serious injury.

Forget Tiger. I think the Windemere police chief has a more interesting story with regard to his past.

This afternoon at least 2 helicopters and tons of news outside Isleworth

I wonder if I ever get in trouble and the Florida Highway Patrol or whomever show up to ask me ?'s and I have someone tell them I am sleeping if they come back the next day?

All the no comments and not talking make it a little more suspicious?

I just read on CNN.com that the only thing he's legally bound to do is show his insurance, drivers license and registration (which he has done, I think).

You aren't required to give a statement to police after an accident. Though I don't know why you wouldn't. :confused3 All the stalling seems odd.

Everyone. It's your 4th amendment right. You do not HAVE to speak to the police EVER.
