What is the cost to take Tiffany Town Car to DVC? How many people can each car hold? To they gurantee to pick you up in time for your return flight (5AM-Yikes!)? Are 3 and under free?

Tiffany goes to all resorts. The cost depends on the resort and the size car you need. A regular town car holds up to 5, over 5 you need a van and it's $15 more. The charge is per car, not per person. I don't know how they handle car seats if you don't bring your own. The gratuity is extra, I always tipped $10 each way for 2 or 3 people. I would reconfirm your return time the day before.

We flew down from LaGuardia last year with 4 adults and 4 children, one of which was 5 months old. They had the car seat, as we had requested, in the Van. We also opted to go to the supermarket...they stop there for 30 minutes free. Worked out very well. I certainly plan on using them again.

The car seats they have are booster seats. The kind that is short and has a bar across the front. (Did that make sense?). I didn't feel it was very safe when my daughter was just under 2. If you request a car seat, make sure you reconfirm it before you leave. They've forgotten to bring one a couple times for us. A towncar is $80 roundtrip to all resorts except the MK resorts which is $5 more. I believe that the vans are just $10 more.

Clarification:

No, the car seat we had was not a booster seat. It was a car seat. In no way would I mistake a booster seat for a car seat. It was a car seat, just like the baby had at home. I agree, a baby could not use a booster seat. When we booked Tiffany, we requested a car seat for the baby, and there was no problem. It was in the Van when we were picked up at the airport.

A BIG problem, though, was that US Air broke the stroller, and the Van driver waited patiently while my daughter was filling out the claims forms and getting reimbursed! Great Company, Tiffany!

Dont forget to use the five dollar off coupon for Tiffany (good on the roundrip) Its at tiffanytowncar.com :) Mae

We took a Tiffany Towncar in December and they were fantastic! Our flight actually came in 45 minutes EARLY and our driver Darcy was there waiting for us. Price is per ride not per person and much better than a shuttle. We'll always take Tiffany!

We used yourride (web page http://www.yourride.net ) for our trip in January, with 6 adults and a baby, and they were fantastic, and a bit cheaper than Tiffany - still fantastic service, though. They offered to bring the car seat, but we were bringing ours for him to sit in on the plane, anyway. I was under the impression that it's very important to have a baby in it's own carseat on a plane just in case there were a problem - 60 minutes or someone did an expose on that a few years ago - on how dangerous it is to have an infant held in a parent's lap - not in normal conditions but in the event of an emergency. One really cool option we've seen, though, is a lap belt that buckles the infant into your lap belt to secure them to you in the case of extreme turbulence.

ANYWAY, I've rambled enough here. Wrapping up, have heard that Tiffany is wonderful, but yourride is another option that is out there that is wonderful to DVC (and yes, includes the free grocery stop as well) also.

mzzbuzzlightyear, I wasn't saying that you would mistake a carseat for a booster seat. I guess we must have been unlucky the three times we requested a car seat. I was surprised that they had that kind. The third time we got the booster seat, my daughter screamed and cried because she didn't want to sit in it. We ended up taking our own on our last trip.

$80 for a roundtrip plus $10 tip each way comes close enough to the price of a rental car to make me get a rental car. Some things are best done with your own transportation!
