Hi everyone, just wondering if there is a site that offers discount Universal tickets? Thank you!

hoping to hear the answer too, taking 7 adults and 4 children in Dec, would love to save some $$$

If you are looking for single day tickets, you aren't going to find any discounts.

Lots of posters use http://www.undercovertourist.com/universal.html for discounted tickets.

Thanks. Yeah really had no intentions of going to US when we go on our trip to WDW in November - but kids keep seeing the new commercials and asked if we can go there too. We were going to just do Sea World, but now might switch. We'll see! We purchased all our WDW tickets through UT, but doesn't seem as good of a discount with Universal.

Universal tickets are pretty cheap to start with for multi-day tickets.

Someone has suggested ticketmomma.com has another alternative.

Yes, they are... However I just purchased 3 sets of 10 Day Park Hopper Non-expiring Disney tickets!!! We planned on just doing 2 days at Sea World on top of that. Now they are asking about Universal. Cant see only buying a one day pass. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

That's for sure. Doing more than one park each vacation gets so expensive. Unfortunately you won't find one day tickets that are discounted more than a couple of bucks.

We have 6 days of Disney non-expiring park hoppers, and I decided to take just my daughter on a 5 day trip to Orlando next month. It started out as a trip to Disney. Then she saw the Universal commercials, and I began investigating our options. Then we looked at the Sea World/Aquatica sites, and she was enthralled. As of now, we're keeping the park hoppers to use in a few years, and I ended up getting 14 day Universal pass for her/AP for me, and length of stay passes for Sea World and Aquatica. The tickets for both properties together cost less than the damned Disney hoppers! We're both looking forward to it, and I figure those park hoppers are a good investment which we can use at any time in the future. Is there any way you can alter your trip and save most of the Disney days for a future visit? The 14 day flex passes, which are good at Universal/IOA/Sea World/Wet N Wild/Aquatica are about $300 each. A big expense, but if you can swing it, you could have the best of all worlds, and go home with plenty of Disney days to use down the road.

The Disney tickets are meant to be spread out. We had already planned on 2 days at Sea World, but might change that to US since the kids really want to see the new parade. Just looking for a discount.

Have to be honest, I went to US once and said I wouldn't go back. Would only be going for my kids, so no chance I'd buy in bulk.

Its my understanding that there are also some Costcos on the East Coast that have 3 day Universal Orlando hoppers for $135. My Costco was able to tell me where they were, but can't send one over, and I don't know anybody on the East Coast who could purchase one for me ...

And they're not at the Costco in Orlando either. :(

I can pick some up for you if you want. I see them at my Costco all the time.

Could someone let me know which exact Costco has the tickets and if possible the item #? We are in California and only have access to the ones for the park out here. A friend manages a Costco so he may be able to get the tickets for us ,he just asked for the item #

The last set of Costco tickets were those that expired in the end of this year. Someone reported that the new Costco tickets are VIP tickets and not non-expiring 3 day tickets.

If you do a search in this forum, someone posted the ticket number for the old tickets.

If two days park to park is OK, checkout USSSA travel site (http://store.usssa.com/Category/66-theme-park-tickets.aspx).

It offers this for $110 tax included + shipping.

Two limitations:

1) The tickets expire Dec. 31 2013
2) You must use the second day within 6 days of the first day

I check with Universal Studios and was told you can upgrade them to more days at the gate (but they did not give my the upgrade price).

the upgrade price would be the difference of what you paid for the 2 day tickets to the addition of the 3rd day at UO prices.

no bridging, so what you paid is what you get credit for on the upgrade to add another day.

It looks like that is a "member price"? What is the price/restrictions on membership?

Hi Everyone, was hoping for some advice. We are going down in Oct (family of 4, with a 19 year old and a 6 year old). We are staying in and spending most of our time in WDW but certainly want to do Universal (my DD is minion crazy these days and I can't wait to see WWHP). What tickets do you suggest I get? If I get the one day park to park can I upgrade them if we really love it and want to go a second day? From the previous posts it looks like we can but just making sure. Thank you all for the suggestions.

All normal tickets can be upgraded. The only tickets that used to not be upgradable were comp tickets and 3 park tickets that included Wet 'n Wild.

You will simply pay the different from what you paid for your tickets and the new price. The bar code on the tickets allows Universal to know where your tickets came from and what you paid for them.

Thank you so much for the information! I'll just buy the one day two park ticket and if my DD loves it and wants to go back we will upgrade.
