Has anyone bought park tickets or meal vouchers off of ebay?

hi, i have not and becareful with this.i remember reading a post about someone that got ripped off.if it seems to good to be true it is!make sure you can get a refund if anything goes wrong.if it is the same or just a coulple of dollars more thru disney then i would go that way.

I would be scared, I have never bought anything on EBAY.

I do buy and sell on ebay. I have done so for over 6 years. I have never bought anything like tickets though. They do have a protection policy but it would do you no good if you were on vacation already. For the most part the sellers are honest. Thanks for the info and I will be very cautious. The tickets would have to be a substantial discount for me to even consider it. Thanks again

It is illegal to buy/sell disney tickets on ebay..if you go to disneys website and read the terms/agreements about disney tickets, it specifically states (since ebay has become so popular) that it is illegal to purchase or sell these tickets over the auction website...just thought that you would like to know so nothing bad happens...

Thanks for letting me know. I knew some things are illegal to buy/sell on ebay but not sure exactely what all this includes. I will forget about ebay for tickets. Thanks again for the heads up.

I work with a guy that got tickets and vouchers from 2 different people off of E-bay in June. Well the vouchers never showed up. Come to find out this person has sold the same vouchers (ones they didn't have to start with) 8 times. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=16071&item=6526144367 this is the link to that auction. Now the tickets did come they were 3 days left with a plus option. There is no way to know if tickets are really any good with out scanning them at Disney. They get to Disney already out money for the vouchers to find out that only one of the 3 tickets have any time left and it is only 1 day. Ebay has not been the biggest help either. SO Please Beware. I sell on Ebay quite a bit but like everywhere there are those take advantage of people.

DO.

NOT.

BUY.

TICKETS.

FROM.

EBAY.

(Usually I wouldn't be so blunt, but it's just a BAAAAD idea, not to mention illegal in the first place.)

Keep in mind that now all park goers use the finger scan machines that previously were only used by AP holders. If you buy a ticket that someone scanned their fingers with, they will ask for ID when it doesn't match.

I've spent a month checking prices on tickets for wdw at ebay. I'm finding they end up selling pretty high. I've come to the conclusion its not worth saving ten to twenty dollers and take the chance of getting bad tickets. I'm amazed at how high they sell. If your really set on this ,go to debs web site and get ticket prices. Tina :flower:

:wizard: My disney trip is not something I would want to take a chance on ruining and buying tickets on ebay is a real chance!!!!

Just to let you know that a big amount of our disney tickets were stolen from the disney store and we figure the person who took them will probably try to sell them on ebay. These tickets were not activated so they are usless.
