Tickets and Magic Bands....

Can anyone tell us if we need to purchase park tickets in advance and link them to our trip on My Disney Experience in order to be considered for the Magic Band testing? We will be at Boardwalk from December 24 through 27 and would like the opportunity to participate (and get the FastPass+), but we are not sure how this works. Thank you for any information you can provide.

You can receive MagicBands without having tickets linked to MDE. You will need to link tickets in order to make FastPass+ selections.
